About the role
The VP External is responsible for contacting and securing
professional HR speakers through several means of communication.
Time Commitment
- Approx. 5-10 hrs/week throughout the school year (Up to 12 hrs/week during busy times)
Term of Employment
- September 2026 - April 2027
Main Responsibilities

Collaborate with the VP Finance to help DiscoveHR secure
-
Create DiscoveHR’s sponsorship package in the summer of 2026
-
Prepare and pitch DiscoveHR to potential sponsors to secure funding
-
Oversee the execution & maintenance of all external corporate
-
Actively seek and contact impactful HR professionals for events
-
Attend weekly meetings and assist with other club initiatives as
impactful sponsors, partners, delegates & speakers for events in a
timely manner

Qualifications

Exceptional interpersonal skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Demonstrate proficiency in developing high-quality presentations

Be comfortable with interacting in a professional manner through

Exceptional organization and time management skills

Prior corporate relations or external experiences are an asset
