Privacy

RemJobs is a job directory. Most of what it stores is public information about job postings, not about you. This page names exactly what is collected about people, and who processes it.

What is collected

If you never sign in — a random identifier, generated in your browser and kept in local storage, plus the pages you visit, the hostname of the site that referred you, and the country your request came from. No IP address, no user agent, and no fingerprint is stored against it. That identifier says two visits came from one browser; it says nothing about who you are.

If your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, none of that is recorded and no identifier is created.

If you create an account — your email address, your name and profile image as your identity provider supplies them, and the time you last signed in. If you sign in with Google, RemJobs receives your email, name and profile picture from Google, and nothing else.

If you set up alerts — the filters you chose, the delivery channel and frequency, and a record of what has been sent to you and when.

If you pay — a customer reference from the payment processor, which plan you are on, and when it expires. Card numbers never reach RemJobs; they go directly to the processor.

Who processes it

These are the third parties involved. Each has its own privacy policy, and data reaches only the ones listed.

ClerkAccounts and sign-in, including Google sign-in. Holds your email, name and profile image.
SupabaseThe database. Stores the account mirror, alert preferences and delivery history described above.
Dodo PaymentsCheckout and subscriptions. Handles card details directly; RemJobs never sees them.
VercelHosting. Processes requests and, for the country field above, derives an approximate country.
UpstashCaching of search and filter results. Holds no personal data.
DataFastSite analytics and crawler measurement.
Logo.devCompany logos, loaded by your browser from their servers using the employer's domain.

What is not done

Your data is not sold. It is not shared with advertisers, and there is no advertising on this site. Job listings are gathered from employers' own public career pages — applying to a role takes you to the employer's site, and RemJobs does not send them anything about you.

How long it is kept

Account data is kept while the account exists. Delivery history for alerts is kept so you can see what you were sent. Visit records are kept in aggregate to understand traffic. Closed job postings are deleted on a schedule once they are no longer live.

Deleting your data

Email punyakritsinghmakhni@gmail.com and your account and everything attached to it will be deleted. You can also clear the browser identifier at any time by clearing site data for this domain.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, the date at the top of this page changes with it. See also the terms of service.
