High School Teacher — General Education

About the role
We are seeking a full-time high school teacher to join our faculty for the upcoming academic year. The teacher will plan and deliver daily instruction, assess student progress, and contribute to a supportive classroom environment for students in grades 9–12.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver daily lessons aligned to state standards
- Assess student work and maintain accurate, timely grade records
- Manage classroom behavior and maintain a productive learning environment
- Communicate regularly with students, parents, and guardians regarding progress
- Differentiate instruction to support students at varying skill levels
- Participate in department meetings, professional development, and school events
- Administer and proctor assessments, including standardized testing
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related subject area
- Valid state teaching certification (or eligibility to obtain)
- 2+ years of classroom teaching experience at the secondary level
- Proficiency with Google Classroom
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to pass a background check
Preferred
- Experience with differentiated instruction
- Experience supervising a student club or extracurricular activity
