Shift Lead, Teleoperations

Cota Robotics puts robots to work in retail stores. They take on the repetitive, time-consuming jobs like inbounding goods, replenishing shelves and sorting stock, currently mostly overnight. They're driven from our control room in Stockholm and increasingly run on their own. We raised a €1.92M pre-seed in August 2026 and are live with retailers in Sweden and Finland. We're a small team based at Sankt Eriksgatan in Stockholm, where half the office is our own dark store.

About the role

You'll run the control room while it's live: a team of teleoperators driving robots in stores across Sweden and Finland. When a shift goes sideways, the calls are yours — what gets escalated, what waits, and who takes which store. There's a customer on the other end of every one of those decisions. You'll start on day shifts and move onto nights, because nights are where most of the operating happens and where a lead is needed most. We recruit for this role on a rolling basis as demand grows.

What you’ll do

• Run the room on your shift: coverage, store allocation, and escalation decisions

• Lead the teleoperators working under you and set the standard for how the work gets done

• Own handover so the next shift starts knowing exactly what happened on yours

• Train new teleoperators as the room grows

• Flag recurring exceptions so they reach the people who can fix them properly

What we’re looking for

• Calm judgment when several things break at once

• Comfortable with technical systems, including reading what a robot is telling you

• Willing to make decisions rather than wait for one

• Good with people, including supporting an operator having a hard night

• Willing to move onto nights over time

• Fluent in English; Swedish is a plus

• Experience leading a shift-based team is a plus — retail, hospitality, logistics or warehouse floor all count

• You must already have the right to work in Sweden, as unfortunately we're not able to offer visa sponsorship at our current stage
