About the role
About the Role
This is a senior product leadership role at a seed/early-stage fintech startup building identity and trust infrastructure for businesses. You will own the product roadmap end-to-end, working closely with a remote-first engineering team to shape how the platform evolves and solves real customer problems.
What You'll Do
Structure and evolve the product roadmap, translating strategy and real-world constraints into clear execution plans.
Break down complex problems into well-scoped initiatives and features the team can ship with confidence.
Define product goals, success metrics, and trade-offs in close collaboration with engineering, design, and commercial teams.
Balance short-term delivery with long-term product architecture, making deliberate choices about what to build and when.
Craft clear narratives around features, articulating why they exist, how they fit together, and what customer problem they solve.
What We're Looking For
6+ years of substantive product management or product leadership experience, with a track record of sustained tenures rather than a series of short stints.
Demonstrated experience building or managing complex B2B or platform products.
Strong systems thinking: ability to reason about how individual features interact within a larger product ecosystem and anticipate second-order effects.
Comfort working closely with engineering teams on technical trade-offs, architecture decisions, and long-term scalability.
Experience defining product goals, success metrics, and managing trade-offs across multiple stakeholder groups.
Clear, transparent communicator who documents decisions, assumptions, and reasoning to keep distributed teams aligned.
Available to work within EU timezones.
Background in identity, payments, or fintech is a strong plus.
Experience in remote-first or distributed team environments is a plus.
Location
Fully remote, open to candidates based anywhere in the EU. The primary listed location is Austria.
