About the role
About the Role
This is a high-ownership, generalist role sitting directly alongside the founding team at an early-stage B2B SaaS company in the commercial and industrial (C&I) energy storage space. You will be one of the first sales hires, shaping how the company brings its product to market across Europe and going wherever the business needs you most.
What You'll Do
Work across Sales, Growth, and Customer Success, shifting focus as company priorities evolve.
Help build and refine the sales playbook and identify new revenue opportunities in B2B markets.
Design and implement internal processes to keep daily operations running smoothly.
Support recruiting efforts, from coordinating hiring pipelines to attracting strong candidates.
Tackle ambiguous, fast-moving problems and drive them to resolution independently.
What We're Looking For
Native or bilingual German and fluent English.
1+ year of experience at a high-growth startup, venture capital fund, investment bank, strategy consulting firm, or comparable environment, or a strong academic background with relevant internship experience.
A degree from a competitive university with strong academic results (Bachelor's or Master's).
Demonstrated ability to execute B2B outreach and engage decision-makers.
Experience with CRM systems and sales automation tooling.
Comfort with ambiguity and a proven ability to work independently in fast-paced, undefined environments.
High energy, ownership mindset, and a competitive drive to hit ambitious targets.
Exposure to product, growth, marketing, strategy, or operations is a plus.
Prior touchpoints with CleanTech, battery energy storage systems (BESS), or European energy markets are a bonus but not required.
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary: 65,000 to 85,000 EUR annually, plus an equity package (VSOP with standard vesting). Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
Location
On-site in Berlin, Hamburg, or Kiel, Germany. Full-time, in-person role.
