About the Role
Workwize has built a demand generation engine and proven the market is there. The next phase needs a different kind of owner: one who doubles down on what works, cuts what doesn’t, and turns a working engine into compounding, predictable pipeline. The Demand Generation Lead owns paid and organic end to end, and is measured at the revenue pipeline level, not the lead level. The market is growing and our ambition is to lead it by setting the standard others follow. This person has already done this inside a company that scaled from roughly €10M to €60M+ ARR, so working across multiple channels, segments and messages at once is familiar ground rather than a first attempt. Within 12 months they have a full funnel engine running across diverse channels, segments and messages, with continuous optimisation built into how the team operates by default, a team they hired and can stand behind, and a clear before and after story with attribution they can put in front of the board. This person is the reason demand becomes something Workwize can forecast rather than hope for.
Key Responsibilities
- Own paid and organic channels end to end, and own the number they produce: SQL output and Stage 2 pipeline contribution, not lead volume.
- Diagnose the engine honestly in the first month: what is running, what it costs, what it returns across every channel, segment and message.
- Ship quick wins immediately. Not a plan for quick wins, actual changes already live while the longer term structure is being built.
- Audit website performance end to end, including landing pages, conversion optimisation and site structure, and turn it into actionable steps that lift both traffic volume and high quality lead flow.
- Maintain the 10% month over month growth in Stage 2 pipeline value already running on paid and organic, while building the segmentation and testing structure underneath it.
- Build a testing and experimentation cadence across paid and organic with hypotheses, owners and review dates, replacing ad hoc campaigns.
- Launch new channels and messaging tracks, get real data out of them, and make scale or kill decisions on evidence rather than instinct.
- Work with Product Marketing to make sure every ICP segment is addressed accurately across channels and campaigns, and keep Sales and CSM close rather than at arm’s length.
- Assess the existing paid specialist and content resources against the bar this role sets, and make at least one hiring or team upgrade decision they can defend.
- Build and lead the team that runs the engine, with optimisation treated as a weekly discipline rather than a project that ships once.
Required Skills & Experience
- Has operated at this scale. Has run demand generation inside a company that scaled from roughly €10M ARR to €60M or more, where multi segment, multi channel, multi message work was the norm.
- Full funnel thinker. Connects every channel decision to Stage 2 pipeline and revenue, not just top of funnel volume.
- Structured experimenter. Runs tests with a real hypothesis and a review date, and kills what does not work fast.
- Bias to action. Builds and ships alongside diagnosis, and does not wait for a finished strategy document before doing anything.
- Continuous optimiser. Treats optimisation as an ongoing discipline built into every week, not a one time project that gets shipped and forgotten.
- Decides on data. Makes scale and kill calls on evidence, and moves without waiting for certainty.
- Cross functional operator. Works naturally with Sales, CSM, Product Marketing and Brand, and does not build in a silo.
- Talent evaluator. Has hired specialists before and can tell the difference between someone who executes and someone who just sounds good in an interview.
- Owns paid and organic personally. Deep enough in both to challenge an agency, rebuild a campaign or fix a landing page when that is the fastest path.
