Part Time Morning/Evening Babysitter – Los Altos, CA

A welcoming family in Los Altos is seeking a reliable part-time babysitter for their 4-year-old child starting ASAP. This position assists with morning school drop-off and evening pick-up routines, with the potential for additional evening hours.

Schedule:

• Days: Monday, Wednesday, Friday
• Hours: 7:30 AM – 8:30 AM and 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM
• Weekly total: 6 hours guaranteed (family is open to offering additional evening hours)

Family Specifications:

• 4-year-old child with no special needs or allergies
• Smoke-free home environment
• No pets in the household

Responsibilities:

• Morning routine assistance: helping child get dressed and serving breakfast
• Safe transportation (pickup and drop-off) to and from school (located less than 1 mile from home)
• Evening routine assistance and simple meal preparation

•  

Requirements:

• Reliable personal vehicle with valid driver's license and clean driving record for school transport
• Prior experience caring for preschool-aged children

•  

Compensation:

• $37–$40 per hour
• Mileage reimbursement provided for care-related transportation in caregiver's vehicle
