Part Time Babysitter – Westfield & New Providence, NJ

A warm and welcoming family in New Jersey is looking for a dependable, engaging caregiver to assist with after-school care and transportation for their child. This role spans two dog-friendly, smoke-free households located in Westfield (07090) and New Providence (07974).

Schedule:

• Days & Hours: Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM or 6:00 PM
• Weekly Hours: Approximately 10–15 hours per week

Family Specifications:

• Care involves split-location coverage between the father's home in New Providence, NJ and the mother's home in Westfield, NJ
• Smoke-free home environment
• Pet-friendly home (1 dog)
• Family values creativity, reliability, and engaging after-school support

Responsibilities:

• Safely pick up child from school and transport to the respective parent's home or local activities
• Provide engaging after-school supervision and care
• Assist with homework
• Engage in creative after-school activities, including arts & crafts and cooking

Requirements:

• Previous experience in childcare or babysitting
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable personal vehicle for transportation
• Comfortable around dogs

Preferred:

• Shared interest in crafts and cooking

Compensation:

• $24–$28/hr (commensurate with experience)
• Gas stipend/reimbursement provided for driving responsibilities
