Developer (Vapasi) - Intern

A 5-week returnship program for experienced Women or Gender Diverse developers on a career break (1–5 years), designed to help you sharpen your skills and restart your tech career with confidence.

About the Program

Vapasi is part of our Women in Tech initiative and supports experienced women or gender diverse technologists in resuming their tech journeys. Since its inception, over 250 women have participated across 20+ batches (for both Developers and Quality Analysts). Many Vapasi graduates have gone on to build successful careers at Thoughtworks and other leading companies.

Program Highlights

• Open to women or gender diverse developers with a career break of 1 to 5 years

• 5-week full-time training program in Bangalore (Mahadevapura office)

• Focused on refreshing and sharpening programming skills through:

  • Hands-on sessions

  • One-on-one mentoring

  • Regular interactions with Thoughtworks leaders and fellow participants

• Selected candidates will be paid during training/internship to work on a live Thoughtworks project. Based on performance, a full-time role may be extended.

Eligibility Criteria

• A minimum of 2 to 5 years of hands-on software development experience before taking a career break

• A career break lasting between 1 and 5 years

• Foundational knowledge of Java with React.js and any cloud experience
