Document Control Analyst
The Document Control Analyst is an intermediate-level position within TerraPower’s Records Management and Document Control (RMDC) program, reporting directly to the RMDC Manager. This role is well-suited for individuals with prior experience in document control or records management in a regulated industry, particularly nuclear. The Analyst supports the full document lifecycle using electronic systems and standard processes, including EPC and construction document control activities, while also contributing to the improvement of RMDC practices, user training, and regulatory readiness. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and a working knowledge of quality and regulatory requirements in the nuclear industry. This is an on-site role based in Kemmerer, WY.
Responsibilities:
- Support EPC and construction document control processes, including intake, validation, and release of drawings, specifications, RFIs, field changes, and other construction records.
- Coordinate with site construction, engineering, and EPC teams to ensure timely distribution and access to current‑revision documents in the field.
- Monitor and help maintain construction document registers, turnover packages, and related metadata to ensure configuration control and traceability across design and construction phases.
- Administer and maintain TerraPower’s Electronic Document Management System (EDMS), ensuring compliance with document lifecycle requirements including version control, approvals, metadata standards, and archival.
- Review, edit, and process-controlled documents and Change Orders, verifying alignment with TerraPower procedures and nuclear regulatory expectations.
- Act as a point of contact for document control support across engineering, quality, licensing, project management, and supply chain functions.
- Guide internal teams through EDMS workflows, ensuring timely routing, review, and release of documentation.
- Train TerraPower staff and contractors on RMDC policies, procedures, and EDMS use; assist in onboarding new users.
- Support records retention, retrieval, and disposition processes consistent with internal schedules and external compliance obligations (e.g., ASME NQA-1, NRC guidance, NIRMA).
- Perform document audits and quality checks to ensure completeness, accuracy, and regulatory compliance.
- Help develop and maintain RMDC tools, templates, training materials, and standard work instructions.
- Maintain and triage RMDC mailboxes and ticketing systems, escalating issues as needed.
- Contribute to readiness activities for audits, licensing submittals, vendor reviews, and regulatory inspections.
- Support the migration of legacy documents and data cleanup efforts within EDMS and SharePoint.
- Coordinate with configuration management or quality teams on change control, revisions, and baselining activities.
Key Qualifications and Skills
- Associate degree preferred. Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
- 3+ years of experience in document control or records management, ideally within a regulated industry such as nuclear, aerospace, energy, or life sciences.
- Strong working knowledge of electronic document management systems (e.g., SharePoint, Agile, or similar).
- Demonstrated understanding of document lifecycle processes, change control, and records retention principles.
- Familiarity with nuclear regulatory and quality frameworks, including ASME NQA-1, NRC Regulatory Guides, and NIRMA Technical Guidelines.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to train and support users across departments.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and work effectively both independently and collaboratively.
- Proven track record of reliability, integrity, and maintaining confidentiality in a technical or regulated environment.

Salary Range: $71,210-$92,480
*Any salary offered within the posted salary band is based on market data and commensurate with the selected individual’s qualifications experience. This range is specific to Kemmerer, WY.
