They are seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager to join their team in Key West, FL. supporting USSOUTHCOM.

Compensation: $125 - 128K per year.
Security Clearance Required: Must have an active Secret clearance. Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Designing and implementing the VDI infrastructure. Configuring and managing virtual machines and desktop templates.
Monitoring the VDI environment for performance and resource usage. Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to virtual desktops, applications, and user connectivity.
Installing, configuring, and maintaining the hypervisor software.
Managing server hardware, resource allocation, and capacity planning, managing Virtual Desktop host pool and related resources.
Architecting, planning, and implementing desktop virtualization technology. Proactively monitor and maintain the health, performance, and availability of the VDI infrastructure.
Conduct regular backups and implement disaster recovery procedures for VDI components. Provide expert-level support for complex VDI-related issues and incidents, investigating root causes and implementing timely resolutions.
Identify performance bottlenecks and inefficiencies within the VDI environment and implement tuning strategies to improve overall system performance. Implement and maintain robust security measures to protect VDI systems, virtual desktops, and user data.
Plan and execute VDI infrastructure updates, including software patches, security updates, and system upgrades.
Minimum Qualifications:
Five[ 5] or more years of hands-on experience in a VDI administration role.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. An additional four [4] years of relevant experience can be substituted in lieu of a degree.
Proficiency in VDI technologies, such as VMware Horizon, Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, or Microsoft Remote Desktop Services (RDS).
Strong understanding of virtualization concepts and hypervisor technologies like VMware vSphere or Microsoft Hyper-V.
Expert-level troubleshooting skills and the ability to resolve complex VDI-related issues effectively.
Familiarity with network, storage, and security principles relevant to VDI environments.
Desired Qualifications
Master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Professional certifications such as VMware Certified Professional (VCP), Citrix Certified Professional - Virtualization (CCP-V), or equivalent credentials are highly desirable.
