About the role
Who We’re Looking For (Position Overview): How would you like a SharePoint environment that is genuinely the backbone of a Marine Corps portfolio rather than a file dump? You will design, build, secure, and modernize the PM MAGTF C2 SharePoint portal — custom workflows, .NET development, UX-grade page design, and a metadata architecture that makes a decade of legacy documentation findable in one search. The Government is explicitly asking for professional-standard design here, which means your work will be seen. You get real ownership of the platform, not a ticket queue.
What Your Day-To-Day Looks Like (Position Responsibilities):
-
Provide SharePoint maintenance, development, administration, and training for the existing PM MAGTF C2 site.
-
Design, build, maintain, and secure the portal — develop customized workflows, manage user permissions, and troubleshoot platform issues.
-
Deliver graphic design and .NET software development for site collections, including layouts, navigation elements, and portal imagery meeting professional UX standards.
-
Conduct a legacy data audit and define the architecture and metadata for stored documentation; edit metadata fields so Boolean search returns useful results without expert knowledge.
-
Create customized search capabilities that cut research time for data calls, and maintain Portfolio Microsoft Teams sites, folders, schedules, and distribution lists.
What You Need to Succeed (Minimum Requirements):
-
Demonstrated history of delivering SharePoint development and administration — 8 years' relevant experience per the Staffing Matrix.
-
Bachelor's degree.
-
Active DoD Secret clearance with ADP-II/IT-2 (T-3) eligibility.
-
Working knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and jQuery, plus SharePoint infrastructure (database, network, security, server, storage, workstation).
Ideally, You Also Have (Preferred Qualifications):
-
Hands-on .NET development for SharePoint site collections.
-
Experience with third-party tools such as CorasWorks or comparable workflow products.
-
Information architecture or metadata taxonomy work on a legacy migration.
-
Design sense — the Government asked for professional-grade UX, not default templates.
