About Searchable
Searchable is an agentic marketing platform for the age of AI search.
ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews have transformed how people discover information. Brands now need new ways to measure and optimise their visibility across AI search engines.
We help companies measure and improve how AI engines answer questions about their brand, products and market. Our agentic platform analyses AI responses, identifies opportunities, recommends actions and automates improvements on their behalf.
We're backed by top angels and VCs, and we're building the team that will define the category of agentic marketing. We're office-based five days a week near London Bridge. For a small team building fast, in-person iteration is a real advantage. If that's how you like to work, you'll love the extremely rapid cycles of building and learning.
The Role
Most marketing software gives you a dashboard and leaves the rest to you. We're building something different: a product that understands your business and your goals, anticipates what you need before you ask, and brings you finished actions, content and plans. You review, approve and watch your presence improve.
That loop has three steps: see where you stand, know what to do and get it done. Designing this loop is an open problem. How do you make an agent's work feel trustworthy? How much control should people have, and how much should they hand over? How do you make an intelligent product feel effortless instead of opaque? You'll answer those questions for our customers and for the category.
What you’ll do
Own the design vision. You'll own the whole experience, not just visual polish or one specific feature. That covers what the product does for people, in what order, and why it's the right thing. You'll be a direct partner to the Head of Product and the CEO in deciding what Searchable becomes.
Make the first experience a no-brainer. The product already has plenty of power built in. Shape it into a first-time experience where new users see the value straight away and can't wait to come back.
Design the proactive agent. Create the experience of a product that knows the customer's business, brings them the right work at the right moment, and makes approving it feel safe and quick.
Turn customer pain into great UX. Learn from customer conversations, session recordings, support threads and your own daily use of the product. Then turn what you learn into experiences that feel seamless, effortless and delightful.
Build what keeps people coming back. Design a product so useful that customers get value on day one and still see it in month twelve.
Build clickable prototypes with AI. Use today's AI tools to make real, clickable prototypes and answer questions fast. You don't need to code by hand, but you do need to use AI to build working prototypes quickly and share them with the team.
How we think about design
This is a product design role. Sometimes the best answer is a different solution, a smaller feature or talking to customers first. You'll be expected to understand the whole system, challenge the brief and make the product simpler.
Our bar is Linear, Stripe and Apple: products where the craft is obvious and the complexity is hidden. The interface is where customers decide whether to trust what the product tells them and let it act for them.
We value strong opinions, loosely held. You should be able to explain why an experience works, argue your case and change your mind when customer evidence says otherwise.
Who we're looking for
You thrive in ambiguity. You don't need a detailed brief to get started. You love taking an unclear problem, framing it and moving it forward on your own.
You're a self-starter who takes ownership. You go after problems without being asked, and you treat the product experience as yours.
You're restlessly curious. You're always looking for a better way, and you push the boundaries of an experience before anyone asks you to.
You've shaped a product end to end. You've led a major product area or a zero-to-one product, with a portfolio that shows both the thinking and the shipped result. Ideally, it also shows the numbers your work moved.
You have exceptional craft. You sweat the details: copy, loading states, spacing and all the small things that make a complex product feel calm and simple.
You understand how the system works. You take the time to learn how data, architecture and AI capabilities shape what's possible, and you work directly with engineers to find better answers.
Experience with AI-native or agentic products, analytics, marketing or SEO tools, and early-stage companies is useful. None of it replaces the above.
What this role isn't
Not a role where you wait for a brief. If you need a detailed spec before starting, this isn't for you. We're AI-native and move quickly, so you'll often start from your own investigations, or pulling on the threads you find.
Not a management role. You'll be our only dedicated UX designer. You'll deliver the designs yourself, working hands-on with the Head of Product, the CEO and our engineers.
What success looks like in 12 months
New customers have a powerful "aha" moment in their first session. They understand where they stand and the next steps to improve, without needing a call from our team.
Customers stay engaged because the product keeps proving its worth over time.
Approving the work our agents prepare feels natural, and customers trust it.
Searchable is seen as the product that defines great UX for AI-driven marketing, and customers say so unprompted.
