Safe Software is looking for a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist, Go-To-Market to join our Human Resources team. In this role, you will own full-cycle recruitment for our revenue-facing organization: quota-carrying Sales and Sales Leadership, Marketing, Customer Success, Partnerships and Channel, Solutions and Sales Engineering, and Revenue Operations. You will build proactive pipelines in competitive GTM talent markets, act as a trusted advisor to revenue leaders, and elevate the candidate experience at every stage. While GTM hiring is your primary focus, you may also support hiring across other parts of the business as priorities shift.
Your work will directly influence Safe’s growth by bringing in resilient, high-performing commercial talent who thrive in our dynamic, customer-obsessed environment.
As part of the Talent Acquisition team, you’ll join a collaborative group of recruiters and HR professionals who partner closely with hiring managers, business leaders, and the larger Human Resources team. In this role, you will work day-to-day with our GTM leadership, including Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Partnerships, to deeply understand revenue targets, territory plans, and headcount needs, and translate them into hiring plans that land.
The Talent Acquisition team is responsible for sourcing top talent, managing the hiring process end-to-end, implementing assessment tools, and continuously improving our recruitment practices for scalability and global growth.
As a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist, Go-To-Market, you will:
Own full-cycle recruitment for GTM roles, from intake to offer close, across Sales (AE, AM, SDR), Sales Leadership, Marketing, Customer Success, Partnerships and Channel, Solutions and Sales Engineering, and Revenue Operations.
Develop and execute proactive sourcing strategies for competitive commercial talent markets across Canada and the US, including passive outreach to top performers who aren’t actively looking.
Partner closely with revenue leaders to understand territory and quota plans, define role scorecards, refine job descriptions, and build hiring strategies that match the pace of the business.
Build and nurture evergreen talent pipelines and talent maps for repeatable GTM roles and for hard-to-fill specialist and leadership hires.
Leverage LinkedIn Recruiter, Ashby, our ATS system, job boards, social sourcing, referrals, industry events, and competitive market intelligence to identify high-quality commercial candidates.
Assess for GTM-specific signals, including quota attainment and consistency, deal size and sales cycle complexity, territory and segment fit, technical aptitude for selling a technical product, and customer-facing communication skills.
Conduct thorough candidate assessments using structured and behaviour-based interviews, and introduce role-specific evaluation mechanisms such as mock discovery calls, pitch or demo exercises, written work samples, marketing portfolio reviews, and case-based challenges.
Act as a market expert to hiring managers, advising on compensation expectations for commission-based roles, competitor talent movement, time-to-hire realities, and where the talent actually is.
Sell the Safe story, including our product, customers, culture, and long-term stability, to candidates who have multiple competing offers.
Communicate regularly with candidates, providing updates and feedback while maintaining Safe’s human-centred approach.
Analyze recruitment data and metrics, including pipeline conversion, source effectiveness, time-to-fill, offer acceptance, and quality of hire, to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
Safers come from a variety of backgrounds with a diversity in skills and knowledge. That said, we find that those who are most successful in this role have experience with the following areas.
8+ years of full-cycle talent acquisition experience, with a significant portion focused on go-to-market, revenue, or commercial hiring, preferably within B2B software or technology.
A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Demonstrated success hiring quota-carrying Sales roles and Sales Leadership, plus experience across at least two of the following: Marketing, Customer Success, Partnerships or Channel, Solutions or Sales Engineering, and Revenue Operations.
Proven track record of proactive, outbound sourcing for passive commercial candidates in competitive markets, rather than relying on inbound applicant flow.
Demonstrated success recruiting in the US and internationally, with a strong understanding of global GTM talent markets and regional compensation norms.
Working knowledge of sales compensation structures (base/variable splits, OTE, commission plans, accelerators) and the ability to have credible compensation conversations with candidates and leaders.
Strong interviewing capabilities, including structured and behavioural interviewing, and the ability to distinguish genuine performance from strong self-presentation.
Ability to introduce and leverage assessment mechanisms such as pitch and demo exercises, mock calls, written work samples, situational judgment tests, or competency-based assessments.
Effective communication skills with the ability to influence and guide fast-moving revenue leaders.
Strong organizational skills, time management, and the ability to manage multiple competing priorities and requisitions at once.
Comfort operating with urgency and adapting as headcount priorities shift mid-quarter.
Experience with Ashby or similar modern, data-driven Applicant Tracking Systems.
Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter, JuiceBox AI, or other professional sourcing platforms.
Familiarity with recruitment analytics and data-driven decision making, including GTM pipeline and funnel metrics.
Experience hiring for a technical or highly technical product, where sellers must credibly engage engineers, GIS professionals, or IT buyers.
Knowledge of employer branding strategies and talent market research, particularly for commercial audiences.
Training or certification in structured interviewing or assessment methodology.
Experience building diversity sourcing strategies and inclusive recruitment practices.
