Who we are looking for
Cutting Dynamics is looking for an HR Specialist L2 to join our growing team. The HR Specialist will provide support to the Human Resources Department on all human resource and employment matters and payroll/administratiive functions.
What you will get to do
- Serve as the first line of support to employees for human resources administration and day-to-day activities.
- Respond to general HR inquiries, including but not limited to employment and benefit and leave programs.
- Partner with management in communicating and implementing policies, business procedures, and guidelines for compliance.
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of employee personnel files and records and supports best practices for HRIS data integrity.
- Coordinate and tracks all leave of absence activities including FMLA, STD, LTD and Worker’s comp.
- Coordinate recruitment efforts with Talent team and hire managers to align hiring efforts and maintain job requisitions.
- Coordinate all onboarding procedures including new hire orientation activities.
- Conduct exit interviews and assist in the coordination of termination procedures.
- Assist in planning and coordination of corporate events, initiatives, programs, and special projects.
- Support employee relations matter in conjunction with Sr. HR Manager. Escalates complex issues to Sr. HR Manager for decision and direction.
What you bring to the team
- Minimum 3 years of similar or related experience
- Education: Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred or High School Diploma or GED (required)
- Minimum 3+ years experience with HRIS and Payroll systems required
- Minimum 3+ years experience with new hiring and onboarding preferred
- Experience with interviewing and recruiting, preferred
- Experience with employee benefit management
- Familiarity with HR laws and procedures
- Familiarity with staffing, developing, succession planning
- Experience with Human Resources reporting
