The Opportunity
We are looking for an exceptional candidate to join our high-performing team of Solution Engineers in the UK, with a focus on the Public Sector. You will collaborate closely with regional peers across Alliances, Sales, Marketing, and Product to help win strategic sales opportunities.
We are seeking someone with strong technical expertise and business insight who can articulate complex technical concepts in a clear, compelling way. You will be comfortable in a hands-on role, delivering impactful presentations, product demonstrations, and deep dives across customer engagements. As a key technical spokesperson for Quantexa, you’ll build lasting trust with stakeholders by engaging them in relevant, value-driven conversations that address the unique challenges of central government.
Location
This role is based in London and will require travel to customer sites where appropriate. This is a hybrid role but with expectations to be on client site or in the London office at least two times per week.
What You’ll Be Doing
Be a functional and technical expert in Quantexa’s platform and products, with a strong understanding of its capabilities and real-world applications.
Demonstrate a good understanding of UK central government practices and how the platform addresses operational challenges.
Articulate and present the value of our platform, demonstrating how Quantexa solves specific pain points and enables better decision-making.
Represent Quantexa at industry events, customer meetings, and webinars, showcasing our capabilities and thought leadership.
Manage the technical aspects of the sales cycle, working alongside Sales, Architects, and Product teams.
Contribute to winning proposals, including RFPs and RFIs.
Take ownership of the design and execution of PoCs and trials, ensuring alignment with customer objectives.
Collaborate on the design of tailored solutions, working with partners, customers, and internal teams to define the right approach.
Deliver engaging product demonstrations, both in-person and remotely, that connect with stakeholders from users to executives.
Facilitate discovery sessions with prospects, uncovering core business challenges and technical needs.
What You’ll Bring
Experience in a commercially focused, hands-on technical role such as Solution Engineering, Presales, or Technical Consulting, ideally from a Systems Integrator (SI) or a similar technology vendor.
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with a track record of effective customer engagement.
A great communicator, able to captivate audiences with an innate ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences.
Proven experience working with UK public sector clients, with a good understanding of the operational and technical challenges within central government departments.
Experience leading extensive proving engagements, such as PoCs or early implementation phases, including activities like technical workshops, prototypes, and bespoke demonstrations.
Confident in delivering engaging presentations and pitches that connect functionality to business value.
Experience building demos, templates, or sharing best practices that contribute to team enablement
Desired Skills
Strong expertise in data-driven, analytical solutions such as Entity Resolution, Graph Analytics, and MDM.
Domain knowledge in UK public sector areas such as tax and revenue, social security, or home affairs is highly desirable.
Technical expertise in data storage, processing, and containerization technologies such as Cloud or On-prem Distributed File Systems, Spark, Kubernetes, and Elasticsearch.
