Position Summary:

This role supports the planning, coordination, and execution of IT projects, including digital transformation initiatives and ERP-related improvements. This role assists in ensuring projects meet business objectives, stay on schedule, and adhere to security best practices, exercising independent judgment in managing assigned workstreams.

What You Will Do

• Independently manage the full lifecycle of IT and ERP projects—from planning and scope definition to execution, monitoring, and closure—exercising independent judgment in managing assigned tasks and workstreams.
• Evaluate and align project goals with organizational priorities by collaborating with the IT Program Manager, leadership, and key stakeholders to help define deliverables, success criteria, and expected outcomes.
• Develop and recommend project schedules, make decisions regarding resource allocation, and identify potential risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Monitor project scope and proactively resolve issues or recommend timeline adjustments to accommodate changes or challenges.
• Lead cross-functional project teams and coordinate activities of IT teams, vendors, and business units to support smooth implementation.
• Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date project documentation, including scope statements, schedules, risk registers, meeting minutes, and decision logs.
• Help ensure that cybersecurity and data protection standards are embedded into all project activities, from planning to execution.
• Complies with the PRIME Safety Program – learns and follows safety regulations, procedures and safe work practices.
• Performs other duties as requested.

What You Will Need to be Successful

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, or Accounting and 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience managing IT projects, particularly in ERP and digital transformation, preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to independently manage assigned project tasks and workstreams with minimal direct oversight.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• No direct supervision
• May supervise or coordinate the work of others who assist in specific assignments

Special Requirements/Physical Demands/Working Conditions:

Work is primarily performed in an office setting with minimal health or safety hazards.  Noise level and temperature is moderate.  Minimal lifting or climbing.  This position is expected to be fully in-person, onsite, with some travel not limited to, other offices, work sites and local business errands.  Requires operating office machines such as, but not limited to, computers, copiers, scanners and phones.

Communication Skills:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as operations manuals and instructions.  Ability to write routine correspondence such as letters and memos. Ability to conduct face-to-face and telephone communication. Communicate clearly and effectively with project managers, team members, and stakeholders to support project execution.

Reasoning Ability and/or Critical Thinking:

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.  Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instruction.  Constructive thinking and alternative short- to long-term solutions must be considered.  Action plans must be developed and implemented. Capacity to identify issues, propose solutions, and escalate matters as needed. Accurate documentation, record-keeping, and thorough review of project materials. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and contribute to project success.
