Job Summary
As a Anaplan Business Systems Analyst, you will be part of a team that is responsible for leading the successful implementation and maintenance of a new planning solution at Perry Ellis International. You will work closely with cross-functional teams across the organization to gather requirements, configure the solution, develop training materials, and ensure a smooth transition to the new system.
Responsibilities
- Partner with business stakeholders across various departments (e.g., Planning, Merchandising, Finance) to understand current planning processes and identify key requirements for the new solution.
- Analyze business needs and translate them into technical specifications for the planning solution.
- Understand and document end to end data flows across various systems impacting planning.
- Work with the implementation team to configure the solution to meet Perry Ellis International's specific requirements.
- Develop comprehensive test plans and conduct thorough testing of the new system.
- Create user guides, training materials, and other documentation to support the adoption of the new planning solution.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to users after the system goes live.
- Track and report on project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and ensure the project stays within budget and timeline.
- Stay up-to-date on industry best practices related to retail planning and analytics.
- This is an in-office role, based at our Global Headquarters in Miami, Florida.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Experience as a Business Analyst or a related role in Planning - Supply Chain, Demand, Financial.
- Experience with enterprise planning solutions (e.g., Anaplan, Oracle, o9, etc.) at a Retailer and/or Wholesaler. Experience with Anaplan is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Working knowledge of SQL a plus.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience with business process mapping and documentation.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Strong understanding of retail planning concepts and best practices.
- Experience with data analysis tools and techniques is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
