Enterprise Marketing Lead
Parallel Systems is seeking a founding Enterprise Marketing Lead to take our enterprise brand to the next level : brand, sales enablement, online presence, communications, and high-touch, VIP events. The ideal candidate will operate as both strategist and executor, with full ownership of how Parallel shows up in the market. This role is ideal for someone who has built a marketing capability at a scaling company and wants to own that outcome again. You will work closely with sales, executive leadership, and external partners to ensure our brand, our story, and our commercial moments all pull in the same direction.
Responsibilities:
- Sharpen Parallel’s commercial narrative and branding consistency for all stages of customer engagement.
- Plan and run high-quality VIP events end to end including vendors, logistics, swag and guest experience
- Execute VIP technology demonstrations at our test site on a regular cadence
- Own social content, primarily LinkedIn and Company’s website, and track engagement
- Partner with our external PR firm on press strategy, company announcements, media opportunities, and external communications
- Create or coordinate visual content, photography, and video that brings Parallel’s technology, customers, and people to life.
- Build lightweight marketing processes and systems that let a scaling company execute consistently.
- In partnership with Talent, support employer brand across the careers page, recruiting collateral, and candidate-facing content
What Success Looks Like:
- After 30 days: Understand Parallel’s brand, commercial priorities, and technical story, while delivering a centralized sales asset library and identifying priority gaps across the website, sales collateral, and social channels.
- After 60 days: Independently manage the communications program, refresh the technology demonstration narrative, and ensure consistent application of Parallel’s brand guidelines.
- After 90 days: You own a consistent weekly social content cadence, develop a VIP gifting and swag strategy, execute a successful VIP event, and drive greater awareness and engagement with railroad and shipper prospects
Basic Requirements:
- 3+ years in enterprise marketing
- Experience creating customer-facing materials and building that narrative in partnership with a commercial team.
- Experience planning and executing VIP-facing events
- Experience managing a website and owning an ongoing social media presence.
- Experience managing programs that involve external partners, such as a PR firm.
- Strong writing skills, with a demonstrated ability to personally execute marketing work across multiple channels.
- Strong eye for brand consistency across digital, physical, and environmental touchpoints
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a scaling startup, ideally in hardware, deep tech, industrial technology, transportation, robotics, autonomy, or logistics.
- Familiarity with investor-facing communications
- Experience creating or directing photography, video, and other visual content.
- Comfort operating with a high degree of autonomy across a broad, still-evolving scope.
- Design sensibility and experience contributing to workplace interior or environment design.
- Interest or experience in physical product design.

Salary ranges are listed below and reflect the expected range for new hires in this role, based on factors such as skills, experience, qualifications, and location. Final compensation may vary and will be determined during the interview process. The target hiring range for this position is listed below.
