Systems Engineer - Geospatial/MBSE (Top Secret/SCI Clearance Required)

North Point Technology is looking to hire a Systems Engineer to join a cutting-edge geospatial intelligence data management program delivering innovative applications and services to a major national intelligence agency. This program supports thousands of analysts and decision-makers across dozens of locations worldwide, pioneering automation solutions and machine-augmented geospatial analysis capabilities. A Top Secret/SCI clearance is required to start.

Responsibilities:

As an embedded systems engineer within an Agile SCRUM development team, you will support technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, and cost and risk analyses across all phases of the system lifecycle, including concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance, and disposal. You will assist with system modeling, requirements definition, and user outreach to ensure proper design of the software architecture, performing functional analysis, timeline analysis, trade studies, requirements allocation, and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.

Required Skills/Experience:

• Systems architecture design and engineering principles, including requirements analysis and interface definition
• Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) using Cameo modeling tool
• Creation of engineering artifacts using Jira and Confluence
• Experience working within a Scrum/Agile development team

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Knowledge of GEOINT analytic workflows
• Familiarity with Cedalion or Orchestration Services applications
• Experience on a software development program
• AI prompting techniques as applied to systems engineering tasks
• Conducting user outreach and delivering training to end users

Qualifications:

• Top Secret/SCI clearance required to start
• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline
