About the role
We are looking for a Legal Operations Manager to build and scale our legal infrastructure as we prepare for the next phase of growth. This person will design and implement an enterprise-wide contract and corporate records management system, establish governance frameworks, and lay the groundwork for public company readiness, working closely with our Chief Legal Officer. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments, has a builder's mindset, and knows what "great" looks like at scale.
What you'll do

Contract Management System: Design, implement, and manage an enterprise-wide CLM platform (e.g., Ironclad, Agiloft, DocuSign CLM), including taxonomy, metadata standards, workflows, templates, and reporting dashboards

Corporate Records Management: Build and maintain a centralized corporate records system covering entity management, board and committee materials, officer/director records, minute books, organizational documents, and capitalization records

Process Design & Automation: Develop and document scalable workflows for contract intake, review, approval routing, execution, and post-execution obligations tracking

Public Company Readiness: Support the legal team in establishing SOX-compliant processes, Section 16 reporting frameworks, insider trading policies, disclosure controls, and board governance procedures

Entity & Subsidiary Management: Maintain corporate entity database, ensure good standing across jurisdictions, manage annual filings, and coordinate registered agent services

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with finance, IT, procurement, HR, and business units to integrate legal systems and ensure organization-wide adoption

Data & Reporting: Build dashboards and reporting tools to provide leadership with visibility into contract status, legal spend, obligations, and compliance milestones

Policy & Training: Draft and roll out internal policies, playbooks, and training materials related to contract execution authority, records retention, and corporate governance

Legal Vendor Management: Evaluate, select, and manage relationships with legal technology vendors, outside counsel, and corporate service providers
What you'll bring

Experience: 7+ years as a corporate paralegal, legal operations professional, or similar role, with at least 3 years focused on building or scaling legal systems

Education: Bachelor's degree required

Technology Proficiency: Hands-on experience administering an enterprise CLM platform; Experience with AI-powered legal tools and workflow automation a plus

Corporate Governance: Demonstrated experience managing corporate records for multi-entity structures, including board support and subsidiary governance; Multi-jurisdictional corporate governance experience (US, Canada, EU, Israel, India) a plus

Public Company Exposure: Prior experience at a public company or supporting IPO readiness, including familiarity with SEC filing processes, SOX controls, and proxy materials

Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create process documentation and train non-legal stakeholders
