Who are we hiring? 

The Executive Protection Officer provides comprehensive executive security and transportation services to the corporation’s senior leadership, with a primary focus on the safety, security, and seamless movement of the company’s highest-level executives. This position requires exceptional discretion, professionalism, sound judgment, resiliency and a strong commitment to delivering a high standard of service in a corporate environment. In addition to executive transportation and protection responsibilities, the Executive Protection Officer oversees the readiness, appearance, maintenance coordination, and general management of company vehicles. The position also provides secure document courier services, supports select office administrative and operational functions, and assists the Chairman with special assignments and other duties as directed. 

The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to anticipate needs, manage competing priorities, and respond intuitively in a dynamic, high-profile and fast-paced environment. The role requires a polished executive presence, outstanding attention to detail, strong communication skills, strict confidentiality, and the ability to be agile and quickly pivot while remaining calm and professional. This position is well suited for a highly dependable and service-oriented professional who understands the importance of discretion, accountability, responsiveness, and operational excellence when supporting senior executives and the Chairman of the corporation. 

What will you do?      

• Provides logistical support, transportation and protection of Executives, focusing primarily on the Chairman. 
• Responsible for performing security advances of all business and event locations to be visited by the principal to ensure the personal protection and safety of the executive. 
• Provide support and protection to visiting CEO's, guests and high-profile clients. 
• Proven ability to multitask and maintain sustained attention and composure under pressure, managing simultaneous demands, competing priorities, and rapidly changing conditions without loss of accuracy or professionalism. 
• Assist manager in vehicle selection process, procurement of new assets and any other related tasks. 
• Execute proactive measures to ensure the safety of the client; i.e. advance work, research, collection of applicable information. 
• Conduct counter surveillance activities in the vicinity of the client site and along the route. 
• Provide vehicular escort services to clients and family members. 
• Ensure the vehicle is consistently maintained in pristine condition, with exceptional attention to cleanliness, appearance and presentation. 
• Check traffic, road conditions, and plan alternate routes to ensure an on-time arrival.  
• Maintains a travel log and any additional billing information/notes as needed. 
• Schedule and manage intricate travel arrangements and anticipate all contingencies.  
• Drive out of state when necessary while keeping in constant communication with dispatch.  
• Perform other general security duties as needed to support the Threat Management division. 
• Provide exceptional experiences for our guests, partners, and team members, including by adhering to our appearance and presentation guidelines while on-site.   

What do you need to succeed?    

• The ideal candidate will have extensive prior law enforcement and/or corporate security experience, substantial executive chauffeur experience and be extremely familiar with the New York City/Tristate area. 
• Strict confidentiality, professionalism, dependability, and situational awareness are required. 
• Executive Protection experience is required. 
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally via electronic channels, including email and text messaging while maintaining discretion and responsiveness in time-sensitive situations. 
• The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional adaptability, composure under pressure, and a strong sense of initiative, with the ability to work effectively and independently while contributing seamlessly within a collaborative team environment. 
• Proven ability to manage a highly dynamic and frequently changing calendar with exceptional discretion, tact, diplomacy, and sound judgment is essential. 
• Demonstrated experience supporting and interacting with senior-level executives across diverse industries and professional environments is required. Exceptional C-suite relationship management skills, professionalism, and executive presence are essential. 
• Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, organizational and time management skills are required. 
• Demonstrated sound judgment, exceptional decision-making abilities, and outstanding time-management and prioritization skills are essential to effectively manage competing demands and respond to evolving priorities. 
• Brings a positive, energetic, and engaging presence, coupled with exceptional resourcefulness and the ability to anticipate needs and proactively identify solutions. 
• Candidates should be well-organized and detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task with a track record as a strategic thinker capable of foreseeing impact of simultaneous projects. 
• Must be highly responsive to emergencies in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment. 
• Possesses an exceptional attention to detail, thoroughness, and follow-through, with a strong commitment to ensuring tasks are completed accurately, efficiently and to the highest standard. 
• Candidates who have completed a minimum of 60 credit hours of college-level coursework (representing 2 years), or have shown similar self-development through certifications, trade school coursework, etc. are preferred. 

Special Requirements: 

• Must be licensed to carry. 
• Must pass physical fitness examination administered by the company. 
• Ability to work a flexible schedule inclusive of days, nights, weekends and holidays.  
• This position requires a valid New York State driver’s license. 
• Candidates may be required to complete pre-employment assessments, including cognitive, attention, and behavioral evaluations, in addition to a physical fitness examination and driving evaluation administered by the Company. 
• Candidate must be flexible with client and driving assignments based upon need.

Pay Range$75,000—$95,000 USD
