About the role
As a Customer Success Manager in our Higher Education team, you’ll own the success of a portfolio of Enterprise customers across EMEA – helping universities turn Mentimeter adoption into measurable value.
This is a commercial Customer Success role. You won’t own the negotiation or sign the renewal, but you’ll play a critical role in whether customers want to stay and grow. Your job is to understand what success looks like for each customer, drive adoption across their organisation and build the evidence that shows the value Mentimeter is creating.
You’ll work closely with an Account Manager who owns the commercial relationship. You’ll find where the value is, prove it through usage and outcomes, and identify opportunities to expand. They own the negotiation; you help make the case worth saying yes to.
Higher Education has its own rhythm. You’ll work with lecturers, administrators and faculty leaders across departments and campuses, navigating academic years, different stakeholder groups and different levels of adoption.
We’re looking for someone proactive, commercially minded and genuinely curious about their customers – someone who gets energy from seeing what could be better and making it happen.
What Will Help You Succeed
We think you’ll thrive here if you:
- Have experience owning B2B customer relationships in a commercial environment, ideally with Enterprise customers
- Understand that great Customer Success is about outcomes, not activity – and can point to measurable results you’ve helped customers achieve
- Are comfortable using data to understand customer health, prioritise where to spend your time and decide what to do next
- Know how to build trust and influence across different stakeholders, even when you don’t have formal authority
- Are comfortable facilitating, presenting or training and can hold a room
- Are proactive and structured – customers know what’s happening next because you make sure things keep moving
- Are curious and quick to learn, and actively look for ways to improve how you work
Experience in Higher Education is a plus, but not required.
Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who is hungry and humble: ambitious about the impact you want to have and how you want to grow, while being collaborative, curious and generous with the people around you.
Responsibilities
- Own the success of a portfolio of Enterprise Higher Education customers after the sale
- Build success plans around clear customer goals and measurable outcomes
- Drive onboarding, adoption and long-term value across departments, faculties and campuses
- Run workshops, training and other initiatives that help educators get more value from Mentimeter
- Use adoption, usage and customer data to identify opportunities and risks early
- Build relationships across multiple stakeholders rather than relying on a single champion
- Identify expansion opportunities and build the evidence together with your Account Manager to turn customer value into growth
- Bring customer insights back into Product, Marketing and Sales
What’s Not in Scope
- Closing new deals (done by Account Executives)
- Commercial ownership of existing customers (handled by Account Managers)
- Daily support tickets (covered by our Support Specialist)

Compensation At Mentimeter
At Mentimeter, we believe in fair and transparent compensation that grows with you.
The salary range for this role is SEK 50–60,000 per month. It’s intentionally broad to reflect the different stages of growth within the role: from early development to deep expertise and meaningful impact.
Where an individual is placed within the range depends on factors such as relevant experience, demonstrated skills, and alignment with the role’s requirements.
