ABOUT THIS ROLE
As our Senior Film Editor, you won't just be cutting footage, you'll drive LVT's most engaging brand storytelling and ad creative. You'll take raw footage and turn it into content that actually gets watched, across every project type and format we produce. You'll set the standard for post-production workflows, render settings, and media asset management, become the resident expert on how LVT products should look on camera, and make the tough calls on visual style and pacing that keep high-stakes deliverables sharp, on time, and clear of endless revision cycles.
This is an on-site role based at LVT's American Fork, Utah office, reporting to our Senior Producer on the Brand/Film team. You'll partner closely with Marketing, Product, and Sales to bring campaigns, product launches, and company events to life on screen, and support LVT's live events, including our annual S3, with on-site production support and travel as needed.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Craft compelling, high-performing ad creative and brand stories that get watched across every project type and format
- Set the gold standard for post-production workflows, render settings, and media asset management, keeping LVT's digital house in order
- Own subject-matter expertise on how LVT products look on camera, auditing assets for accuracy and building reusable media toolkits so the team never reinvents the wheel
- Rescue degraded audio, fix pacing on dense technical content, and solve cross-platform encoding issues with post-production flexibility
- Make the high-impact creative calls on visual style and pacing while keeping a watchful eye on project timelines
- Deliver high-stakes assets on time by implementing review frameworks that prevent endless revision cycles
- Create assets for live productions, including executive keynotes and company events like S3
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE
- Experienced editor: 7+ years of professional video editing experience, ideally in commercial, brand, or ad content, though an exceptional reel can outweigh years
- Technically fluent: Advanced proficiency in Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve, with working knowledge of After Effects, color grading, and audio mixing
- Proven reel: Has a reel that shows the work, not just talks about it
- Deadline-tested: Manages multiple concurrent deliverables under tight, executive-facing deadlines without losing quality
- Self-directed: Works independently with minimal creative oversight once given direction
- AI-forward: Actively uses AI-assisted editing tools and workflow automation to work faster and smarter
- Soud-Savvy: Skilled in sound design and audio mixing
- Creative risk-taker: Loves to experiment, pushes boundaries, and refuses to let LVT's commercial output look basic
- Calm under pressure: Thrives when the clock is ticking and finds creative workarounds on high-stakes deliverables
- Detail-obsessed collaborator: A conceptual thinker and full-cycle crew member who wants to be more than just a set of hands, with experience creating assets for live productions like executive keynotes
BENEFITS
