This role leads photo and video production across Hasbro Content Creation Studios, leads assistant producers, and serves as the Senior Studio Manager’s operational partner. Working with the Shenzhen Photo and Video Studio and Hong Kong 3D and AI Studio, this role aligns priorities, workflows, and delivery across global teams and external partners.
The Creative Producer oversees seasonal assets from product development through consumer-facing creative. Partnering with Digital Shelf, Creative Operations, Marketing, and Brand Design, they turn creative direction into work that is on time, on brand, and within budget while embracing new tools and digital-first ways of working.
This is a hybrid position will be onsite Tuesday-Thursday at Hasbro's Lincoln, RI office location.
A Day in the Life as a Creative Producer:
Team Leadership and Studio Operations
• Lead, mentor, and support associate producers and interns through clear expectations, regular feedback, and professional development.
• Delegate work based on priorities, capacity, and team strengths while maintaining access to progress, risks, and deadlines.
• Serve as the Senior Studio Manager’s primary delegate, help oversee day-to-day operations across internal teams and external partners, and co-lead initiatives with the Shenzhen and Hong Kong studios to align workflows, schedules, and delivery standards.
Creative Production and Project Management
• Plan and lead photo and video productions from intake through final delivery, handling project scope, schedules, budgets, production plans, and evolving requirements.
• Coordinate talent, product samples, locations, equipment, props, wardrobe, and other resources while anticipating risks and resolving issues with minimal impact on timing, quality, or cost.
• Oversee seasonal assets across product development and consumer-facing creative to ensure consistent brand expression across touchpoints.
Creative Partnership and Direction
• Partner with brand and client teams to translate brand strategy and creative direction into effective photo and video production approaches.
• Provide clear, helpful input throughout production to maintain quality, brand consistency, and the intended creative vision.
• Balance creative ambition with schedule, budget, technical, and operational requirements.
Client and Collaborator Communication
• Act as a primary production contact for internal clients and cross-functional partners, ensuring clear communication from project intake through delivery.
• Assign projects to producers and establish ownership, decision points, timelines, and expectations.
• Lead feedback and revisions while balancing creative goals, production feasibility, and stakeholder needs.
• Provide timely updates on project status, risks, decisions, and final deliverables.
Budget Vendor and Resource Management
• Develop and manage production budgets, including costs for vendors, talent, equipment, locations, props, wardrobe, and other project needs.
• Handle estimates and secure budget approvals for project-specific equipment, rentals, and production services.
• Source and manage vendors, freelancers, and additional crew based on project requirements.
• Negotiate scopes, rates, and agreements with external partners in coordination with the appropriate internal teams.
• Track spending and make informed trade-offs to keep productions within approved budgets.
Post Production and Asset Delivery
• For photography, oversee on-set color review and image selects with brand approval, route assets to external partners for retouching, and ensure final files are uploaded to the Content Service Portal.
• For video, collaborate with brand teams, editors, and post-production partners to deliver final assets on schedule and in line with creative expectations.
• Coordinate routing, metadata, and final delivery requirements with the Digital Asset Management team.
• Confirm that final assets meet agreed creative, technical, and brand standards before delivery.
Process Improvement
• Stay current on production practices, technology, tools, and emerging approaches in photography and video.
• Recommend practical workflow improvements that strengthen efficiency, collaboration, quality, and creative output.
• Help implement and document process changes across internal teams and external partners.
What You’ll Bring:
• 5 years' experience across the full photo and video production lifecycle, including equipment and current industry practices.
• Shown success managing complex creative projects, budgets, schedules, and contending priorities.
• Experience leading and developing producers, interns, freelancers, and vendor partners.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across brand, creative, client, and vendor teams.
• Strong creative judgment and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate direction into clear production plans and adapt as priorities change.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and monday.com; familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud and Capture One.
• Willingness to travel to Asia approximately one to two times per year.
The pay transparency range for this role is listed below. The hiring range will vary based on factors such as experience, skills, location and market conditions. Additionally, employees may be eligible for annual and long-term incentives as part of their overall compensation package.
