Flynn is seeking to hire roofers through the UNION Local No. 96!     Job Summary: As a Roofing Service technician you will be responsible for locating leaks and performing quality roof repairs in a safe and timely manner, while treating customers and fellow employees with courtesy and respect. Job duties also include the completion of defined scope projects and preventative maintenance activities. Must have knowledge of all roof systems including but not limited to cold applied B.U.R., , E.P.D.M., TPO/PVC Membranes, Tile, , Coatings, Metal Roof systems, Sheet Metal and related roof accessories.   What We Offer

A Day in the Life

• Assist with repairs, replacements, and/or maintenance on commercial roofing systems (TPO, PVC, EPDM, Built-up, etc.)
• Work as part of a crew to inspect leaks, damage, and determine correct repair process
• Load and unload materials onto the roof
• Use fall-restraint equipment and PPE gear at all times
• On-call availability to respond to emergency leaks when needed (staggered schedule)
• Communicate professionally with customers and clients and provide recommendations

What We Are Seeking 

• Hiring all skill levels! Prior commercial roofing experience is required (TPO, PVC, EPDM, etc.)
• Has a valid driver license
• Very comfortable working safely from heights on various commercial roof systems
• Safely operate tools and machinery
• Ability to learn and follow our extensive safety policy
• Comfortable working in outside elements and working at heights
• Can provide excellent, professional customer service to our clients
