The Technology team builds end-to-end products and solutions that power our marketplace, delivering an incredible experience for customers globally. From understanding customer and partner needs to designing and testing innovative hypotheses, we create industry-leading experiences for luxury customers everywhere. 

THE ROLE
Reporting to the Engineering Lead, you will be responsible for improving and maintaining our project portfolio. As a Software Engineer, your duties will include developing end-to-end solutions, reviewing initiatives prior to their deployment and subsequent maintenance phase addressing any arising issues, and developing enhancements based on our business teams requirements. You will ensure that all developments undergo rigorous testing and review. Effective communication is crucial in this role, as you will frequently interact with issue reporters to thoroughly understand problems and convey clear solutions. You will be working in a very friendly environment and be part of a well-motivated, talented and growing team. WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Design, implement, and optimize solutions to improve operational efficiency
• Ensure outstanding engineering practices when building these solutions
• Expand our modular architecture, creating new libraries
• Provide technical support and expertise to resolve issues and improve system performance
• Collaborate effectively within an agile environment
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality software delivery
• Evolve your technical capabilities to the next level while using state-of-the-art technologies.

WHO YOU ARE

• An expert in object oriented languages (C#)
• Knowledgeable of unit tests and/or integration tests
• Passionate about code quality
• Stay on top of all of all best practices of modern software development
• Knowledgeable of SQL and experience using relational databases
• Knowledgeable of REST APIs
• A professional with experience working with agile methodologies is also a plus
• Autonomous and able to make important technical decisions that will have a positive impact on our platform
• Interested in large-scale systems
• Passionate about solving complex problems.
