Launched in 2021, Fanatics Betting and Gaming is the online and retail sports betting subsidiary of Fanatics, a global digital sports platform. The Fanatics Sportsbook is available to 95% of the addressable online sports bettor market in the U.S. Fanatics Casino is currently available online in Michigan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and West Virginia. Fanatics Betting and Gaming operates twenty-two retail sports betting locations, including the only sportsbook inside an NFL stadium at Northwest Stadium. Fanatics Betting and Gaming is headquartered in New York with offices in Denver, Leeds and Dublin.
Fanatics is hiring a Program Manager to join the VIP Strategy & Operations team. This role will help bring greater structure, clarity and consistency to a fast-moving business as it continues to scale. Your job is to turn priorities into action and make sure important work moves forward. You will independently run programs, establish practical operating mechanisms, drive team cadences, improve how work gets done, and provide clear visibility into progress, risks and decisions.
This role requires someone who is exceptionally organized and able to manage multiple priorities, workstreams, dependencies and stakeholders without losing sight of the details or the broader objective. You will be expected to anticipate what is needed, identify gaps early and maintain clear ownership and follow-through across the team.
You will also use data and AI tools such as Claude to simplify workflows, create agents to automate recurring work and make the team more effective.
The right person has a proven track record of bringing structure to fast-moving priorities, driving complex programs to completion, and building practical operating mechanisms while knowing when process adds value versus when it creates unnecessary friction.
Responsibilities
Program Management & Independent Projects
- Own cross-functional projects from definition through execution, including scope, milestones, owners, timelines and outcomes.
- Identify business needs that require focused project ownership and build a clear plan to address them.
- Break ambiguous priorities into clear workstreams, decisions and action items.
- Manage multiple workstreams, dependencies and stakeholders while keeping priorities and timelines clear.
- Drive owners against commitments and follow through until actions are completed.
- Surface risks, dependencies and missed deadlines early and drive resolution.
- Step into high-priority, unstructured projects as business needs emerge and independently move them forward.
Process, Efficiency & AI
- Identify opportunities to make the team faster, clearer and more consistent as the business scales.
- Design and implement lightweight processes, workflows and tools that improve execution and accountability.
- Evaluate whether new processes are helping and simplify or adjust them when needed.
- Define clear ownership, handoffs and decision points where they add value.
- Use Claude and other AI tools to automate recurring work, synthesize information and reduce manual effort.
- Continuously look for practical ways to improve how the team operates.
Team Operating Rhythm & Communication
- Own and run key team meetings across the org, including agendas, materials, decisions and follow-up.
- Capture clear action items, owners and deadlines and drive them to completion after each meeting.
- Maintain a consolidated view of team priorities, active projects and outstanding actions.
- Provide concise leadership updates covering progress, risks, decisions and areas requiring attention.
- Ensure important information and decisions are communicated clearly to the right teams.
- Use data, dashboards and business inputs to surface issues or opportunities the team should act on.
Experience and Skills
Required
- 6-8 years of experience in program management, strategy and operations, consulting, business operations or a similar role.
- Proven experience independently owning complex projects and driving cross-functional teams to measurable outcomes.
- Demonstrated experience building or improving processes, workflows or operating mechanisms in prior roles.
- Exceptional organizational skills with a track record of creating clarity, maintaining rigorous follow-through and ensuring details do not fall through the cracks.
- Evidence of improving ways of working while keeping processes practical, lightweight and adaptable.
- Strong analytical skills and demonstrated use of data to drive decisions and action.
- Practical experience using Claude or similar AI tools to automate or improve real business workflows.
- Excellent written communication and experience creating clear, concise updates for senior leaders.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to drive accountability without formal authority.
- High energy, low ego and comfort taking ownership in ambiguous environments.
Preferred
- Experience in a high-growth technology, consumer, sports, gaming or entertainment business.
- Experience supporting senior executives or working within a Strategy & Operations organization.

The range incorporates all of our Geographical Compensation Zones and is subject to change as the Zone associated with the actual offer is confirmed.
