Open Position Summary
• Senior Buyer Planner Commodity Specialist will report to the Supply Chain Operations Manager. The position will be located in Hsinchu, Taiwan
• Undergraduate College Degree
• Exceptional working knowledge of Oracle or SAP for procurement.
• Fluent English is a requirement
• Excellent organizational skills
• Strong work ethic with willingness to learn new systems and tools
Detailed Job Description
Take direction from Oracle ERP planning system and execute accordingly. Familiar with Kinaxis RapidResponse will be a plus.
Review purchase requisitions for accuracy and completeness, driver material readiness and production availability with key suppliers.
Review Open PO Report and working directly with the supplier to ensure all dates/commits are met.
Issue Purchase Orders in Oracle.
Add and / or update new suppliers as required.
Report key departmental performance metrics.
Assist with a variety of other strategic and / or tactical projects as deemed appropriate by Purchasing Manager.
