JOB OVERVIEW:
The Client Manager will support the Client Executive and Managing Principal by proactively managing each client across all lines of coverage for, in most cases, large group employers (500+). Must have experience implementing, servicing and managing self-funded medical plans. This role partners with carriers, internal departments, and clients to ensure a seamless experience while helping clients navigate benefits administration, compliance, enrollment, billing, and employee benefits programs.
Responsibilities:
Data Management & Analytics
- Collect and maintain relevant client data in the designated operating systems
- Manage the exchange of data and information with clients and vendors as necessary
- Manage data analytics requests from clients
- Maintain a firm understanding of each client's financial standing relative to claims, fixed costs, projections, and modeling scenarios.
- Conduct ROI analysis for vendor solutions
Vendor Management
- Coordinate with vendors to ensure on-time benefits implementations and renewals
- Ensure timely review and execution of vendor contracts
- Manage vendors by tracking meeting notes and proactively following up to ensure timely delivery of requested data, responses to inquiries, and other service requests as they arise
- Review vendor plan documents (SPDs, SBCs, plan summaries, etc.) for accuracy
- Troubleshoot issues related to administration, billing, claims, etc.
- Manage RFP process and create presentation for review with client
Client Relationship Management
- Manage standing client meetings with Client Executive or Managing Principal by creating and leading agenda, tracking meeting notes, and updating status on tasks and projects
- Oversee the scheduling and completion of all communications, such as annual enrollment guides and other annual communications, new hire guides, employee transition guides, ad-hoc employer communications as needed and requested
- Manage the procurement of required governing documents, such as wrap documents, Section 125, etc.
- Facilitate and meet day-to-day client needs
- Lead or attend employee educational benefits meetings

- Experience using agency management systems, HR portals, and related technology platforms.
- Minimum of 2 years of employee benefits account management experience with a brokerage, consulting firm, insurance carrier, TPA, or related organization.
- Demonstrated ability to manage competing deadlines while maintaining a high level of service.
- Strong professionalism, discretion, diplomacy, and ability to handle confidential information.
COMPENSATION:
Exempt: The base salary range for this position is $75,000 – $95,000. This range represents the employer’s good faith estimate of the compensation for this role at the time of posting.
Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, skills, training, certifications, education, internal equity, and market data. This role may also be eligible for bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package.
