Overview
Support various aspects of DoD Configuration Management (CM), which may include the development of CM documentation such as Configuration Management Plans (CMP) and Configuration Status Accounting Reports (CSAR). The candidate will be expected to participate in the Configuration Control Board (CCB) and the Technical Review Board (TRB).
Responsibilities
- Responsible for configuration management (CM) of developmental and operational systems, implementing CM discipline for the entire life cycle of systems from initial requirements to end-of-life.
- Act as front-end CM support, providing guidance to the engineering team based on industry standards and best practices. Facilitate communication & coordination between the Change Analyst, engineering team, and the program office.
- Responsible for supporting the development of ECP packages and all relevant supporting documentation (CRB briefs, BCM, SyVD, SVDs, etc.), baseline management, and providing support to all system engineering technical review events.
- Identifies configuration items, implements change control, configuration status accounting, and configuration audits. Reviews and releases various configuration items, including documents and hardware drawings
- Works with the team to create and maintain software, hardware, and documentation configuration baselines (development, test, production, etc.) Lead change management by routing problem reports, change requests, and change notifications. Serve as backup to the Software License Manager
- Serve as the CMPRO administrator for assigned project, managing users, roles and responsibilities, workflows, and processes. Assist new CMPro users on basic configuration management practices.
- Needs excellent attention to detail, strong work ethic, excellent written and verbal skills, and ability to work on multi-functional teams.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED.
- Six (6) years of Computerized System experience, to include: Design, Development, Test and Evaluation, Network Protocols, LAN administration fundamentals, and UNIX and Windows-based operating systems.
- Demonstrated experience with a C4ISR Program of Record (PoR) such as DCGS-MC All Source, DCGS-MC GEOINT, or DCGS-MC SIGINT. Experience may be achieved simultaneously.
- Ability and willingness to listen and take direction well, and the ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
- Active Secret Clearance walking through the door
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior Marine Corps system experience with an emphasis on All-Source and C4I, and Automated Testing experience.
- Familiar with (JIRA, JAMA, CMPro).
