The Team:

The Business Apps team drives innovation across Celonis' product portfolio, focusing on solutions that help enterprises automate and optimize their critical business processes. Within Business Apps Finance, we specialize in finance process intelligence and automation —enabling companies to optimize key KPIs, improve compliance, and accelerate finance operations at scale. We combine product development, customer insights, and go-to-market strategy to turn complex challenges into scalable solutions. Our work spans from early-stage product concepts through full customer deployment and scaling. The Role:

As a Product Manager Intern in Business Apps Finance, you'll play a key role in integrating our new Benchmarking feature into our solution portfolio and driving its adoption across our customer base. Benchmarking allows our customers to compare their financial KPIs anonymously against industry peers, unlocking powerful insights for optimization. You'll partner with product managers, engineers, and account teams to refine this solution based on real-world feedback. You'll also support the broader team on portfolio releases and strategic initiatives. This role offers a unique blend of hands-on product work, customer collaboration, and go-to-market strategy—ideal if you're curious about how technology scales from concept to market. 

The work you’ll do:

• Collaborate with our GTM team to develop enablement materials, customer success stories, and sales assets that help scale Benchmarking adoption. You'll see firsthand how products move from launch to market traction.
• Engage directly with customers and partners to understand their use cases, validate solutions, and refine our approach based on real-world needs and feedback loops.
• Work alongside product managers and engineers to refine the Benchmarking solution. Gather customer feedback, translate it into product requirements, and help quantify the business impact—shaping what gets built next.
• Get hands-on with the Celonis Platform and AI capabilities to understand how our Benchmarking feature works. Create demos and prototypes that showcase the value prop to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Contribute to the successful development and launch of new finance solution releases across our Finance product lines.
• Support broader business apps projects across the organization, tailored to your background skillset.

The qualifications you need:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business Informatics, Business Engineering, Business Administration, or a comparable field
• Ideally: background in process consulting, strategy consulting, or related experience (Benchmarking is a consulting-adjacent domain) 
• Nice-to-have: familiarity with Python for scripting or SQL—but not required 
• Genuine curiosity about data science concepts, technologies, and their business applications 
• Passionate about helping customers solve business challenges. You are intellectually curious, have a willingness to learn, and continuously seek self-improvement,
• Critical thinking and entrepreneurial mindset with a preference to solve problems pragmatically and with high quality.
• Ability to collaborate, partner, and work effectively and smoothly in a hyper-growth company in an international team, including collaborating with team members in a remote setting.
• Fluency in both spoken and written English (other languages are a bonus!)
• Full or part time (working student) availability for at least 6 month and Munich located
