About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven Strategic Account Director to drive high-impact revenue growth within the enterprise E-commerce and digital space. This role requires an expert balance of strategic account expansion and targeted new-logo acquisition.

As a Value-Led and Challenger-minded sales professional, you will disrupt status-quo thinking, align complex digital commerce challenges to clear ROI, and position Bazaarvoice as a business-critical growth engine.

Key Responsibilities

 

• Drive Value-Led Growth: Build joint executive business plans with enterprise clients, using financial modeling and ROI frameworks to prove measurable impact and unlock expansion revenue.

• Challenger Prospecting & Acquisition: Execute self-driven prospecting strategies that teach clients something new about their digital footprint, tailoring commercial insights to spark new opportunity pipeline.

• Complex Multi-Threading: Navigate and align cross-functional digital stakeholders (E-commerce, Brand, Digital Marketing, IT, and Merchandising) to map solutions directly to top-line business goals.

• Territory Strategy & Forecasting: Own and manage an enterprise territory with rigorous pipeline control, accurate forecasting, and clear path-to-quota execution.

• Cross-Functional Orchestration: Partner seamlessly with internal Solution Engineering, Customer Success, and Product Marketing teams to deliver cohesive customer outcomes.

 

Qualifications & Skills

 

• Industry Background: 5+ years of enterprise SaaS sales experience, specifically within E-commerce, digital marketing, or retail tech ecosystems.

• Proven Deal Metrics: Track record of managing a $1M+ USD annual quota with an average deal size of $50-100k.

• End-to-End Execution: Demonstrated mastery of full-cycle selling from cold self-prospecting and discovery through to commercial negotiations and closing.

• Sales Methodology Fluency: Deep alignment with Value-Led Selling, Challenger, and MEDDPICC frameworks to drive urgency and value definition.

• Commercial Acumen: Outstanding ability to quantify business value, construct compelling business cases, and win on value rather than price.
