Finance Systems Associate (Winter 2027)
Associate positions at Astranis typically last for twelve weeks, and are salaried roles designed for recent graduates from a four-year university.
The Finance Systems Associate will support the Financial Systems team in maintaining, configuring, and scaling our core financial technology stack, primarily NetSuite and Ramp. You will gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced aerospace startup, building scalable system documentation and training cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operational workflows across the company.
Role
- Assist with the day-to-day administration, user management, and role permissioning for NetSuite, Ramp, and other financial systems
- Author, organize, and maintain clear system documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and user guides
- Design training materials and conduct onboarding sessions for internal employees on financial systems and expense submission workflows
- Field internal user support tickets, troubleshoot access issues, and help resolve system-related roadblocks
- Collaborate with the Finance team to test platform updates, new feature rollouts, and system integrations
- Help identify operational inefficiencies and suggest automated or system-driven solutions
Requirements
- Graduating with or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
- Strong technical aptitude with an interest in systems administration, process mapping, and documentation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with an ability to translate technical concepts into simple, user-friendly guides
- High attention to detail and strong organizational habits
- Passion for supporting mission-critical systems and scaling operations at a high-growth startup
Bonus
- Prior exposure to or coursework involving NetSuite, Ramp, Jira, or Confluence
- Experience creating technical documentation, training materials, or leading workshops
- Basic understanding of corporate accounting operations, manufacturing, and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) workflows
- Interest in space, aerospace technology, or high-growth hardware companies
The base salary for this position is $1,750 per week.
