Director – Enterprise Solutions

JOB PURPOSE

Shape, deliver and continuously evolve Aldar's enterprise and business-facing technology landscape, ensuring that major platforms and solutions directly enable business strategy, operational excellence and growth across the Group and its subsidiaries (including property management, hospitality and education businesses).   Act as the senior technology counterpart to business executives, translating business priorities into scalable solution roadmaps, ensuring effective execution, and maximizing value realization across the full lifecycle of enterprise systems.  

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Enterprise Solution Leadership:

Define and maintain a coherent enterprise solutions vision aligned with Group strategy and business priorities.   Own the lifecycle of all major enterprise and line-of-business platforms, including enterprise resource planning, finance, human capital management, customer relationship management, property, hospitality and education systems.   Ensure solutions are fit-for-purpose, scalable and aligned with long-term Group objectives.

Business Partnership & Value Realization:

Act as the primary senior technology partner to business leadership across the Group and subsidiaries.   Translate strategic initiatives into solution roadmaps with clear outcomes, milestones and benefits.   Ensure measurable business value is realized from technology investments, beyond system delivery.

Delivery & Operational Excellence:

Oversee end-to-end solution delivery across multiple portfolios and subsidiaries, ensuring predictable execution and quality outcomes.   Ensure enterprise solutions are operated effectively, with clear ownership, service performance and continuous improvement.   Balance speed, quality, cost and risk across a complex delivery landscape.

Platform Evolution:

Drive continuous improvement and modernization of enterprise platforms, avoiding stagnation and technical debt.   Promote product-oriented thinking for enterprise systems, including roadmap ownership, adoption and lifecycle management.   Ensure solutions leverage Group platforms (cloud, data, integration, automation) effectively.

Vendor & Ecosystem Management:

Own strategic relationships with software vendors, systems integrators and delivery partners.   Lead vendor selection, contract governance and performance management at Group level.   Ensure commercial discipline, reduced dependency and alignment with long-term platform strategy.

Governance, Architecture & Alignment:

Ensure enterprise solutions comply with Group architecture standards, security policies and governance frameworks.   Partner closely with Enterprise Architecture, Strategic Planning & Governance, Technology Platforms & Operations and Information Security to maintain coherence across the technology ecosystem.   Escalate and resolve cross-domain trade-offs effectively.

Leadership & Talent Development:

Build and lead high-performing solution teams and competency centers.   Develop future leaders with strong business acumen, not just technical depth.   Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement across the solutions organization.

What This Role Is Not:

Not a project or PMO role.   Not a purely operational technology role.   Not a platform or infrastructure function.   This role drives enterprise-wide business outcomes through technology, at scale.  

RELATED YEAR OF EXPERIENCE

Minimum of 15+ years of experience in enterprise technology leadership roles within large, diversified organizations.

YOE IN MANAGERIAL POSITION

Minimum of 6+ years of managerial experience in a related field.

FIELD OF EXPERIENCE

Complex enterprise platforms (enterprise resource planning, finance, customer relationship management, human capital management, industry systems) at group or multi-business scale   Partnering with senior business executives on transformation initiatives   Managing large vendors, systems integrators and complex delivery ecosystems

TECHNICAL AND INTERPERSONAL SKILLS

Business-first mindset with strong commercial and strategic judgment   Able to operate at executive level while maintaining command of execution   Credible, calm and decisive leader in complex, high-stakes environments   Comfortable balancing autonomy of subsidiaries with group-level coherence   Respected partner, not a "technology order-taker"

QUALIFICATION

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required   Master's degree is preferable
