Join us in powering a better world with inertial fusion! **This is a full-time, onsite role based at our headquarters in Denver, CO.** As the Technical Lead Manager for Power Electronics & EMI/EMC, you will apply your skills to technical and functional leadership of a team of individuals working to develop and mature the state of power electronics at Xcimer. We are looking for our Technical Lead Manager for Power Electronics & EMI/EMC to apply their technical expertise, problem solving skills, and dedication to quality to positively impact the future of energy! ##### Responsibilities: - Technical leadership over the Power Electronics & EMI/EMC sub-department within Pulsed Power Engineering - Functional management over individuals within the Power Electronics & EMI/EMC sub-department within Pulsed Power Engineering - Development of a technology roadmap for power electronics at Xcimer. Including high-voltage power supplies, DC-DC converters, and EMI/EMC compliant PCB design. - Development of standards, specifications, requirements and best-practices for power electronics and EMI/EMC for Xcimer. ##### Qualifications: - Education: M.S.E.E. or greater - Experience: >10 years - Project management, functional management, experience with EMI/EMC specifications/standards/design, expert knowledge of power supply design, PCB layout and EMI/EMC compliant design. - Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee of granted asylum ##### Desired: - LTSPice or similar circuit modeling software - Experience with electromagnetic modelling via Ansys, COMSOL, CST, or equivalent software - Knowledge of electromagnetic fields, as well as their associated interactions and diagnostics - Python or MatLAB programming skills - Experience with project management software such as Jira, Microsoft Projects, etc… - Experience interpreting and implementing EMI/EMC commercial or military standards (e.g. IEC 61000-4, MIL-STD-461 etc…) **Equal Employment Opportunity** Xcimer Energy is proud to be an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer and is committed to attracting, retaining, and developing a highly qualified, diverse, and dedicated work force.
