We're committed to fostering a culture of creativity, belonging and continuous learning, attracting and developing the brightest talent, and providing exciting career opportunities that help our people grow. ** ** ** **For more information, visit [WPP.com.](https://eur02.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwpp.com%2F&data=05%7C02%7CErica.Durr%40wpp.com%7C9bf4566a65bc46a48ac008de749116ea%7C150b5e663d884dee83f6ed149b727a00%7C0%7C0%7C639076363668176216%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJFbXB0eU1hcGkiOnRydWUsIlYiOiIwLjAuMDAwMCIsIlAiOiJXaW4zMiIsIkFOIjoiTWFpbCIsIldUIjoyfQ%3D%3D%7C0%7C%7C%7C&sdata=Q9juosud56XGLThSFZ1NpPZd6FXpJPxV74OeRZWoh%2B4%3D&reserved=0)** ** ** **Department: **Treasury **Reporting To: **Manager - Treasury **Job Location: **Mumbai **Education Qualification Required: **B Com/M Com **Number of Years of Experience Required: **2-4Yrs **Summary:** The Treasury Analyst is responsible for the day-to-day management of treasury operations, ensuring efficient cash flow, accurate financial reporting, and compliance with internal controls and regulations. **Key Responsibilities:** **Daily:** - Cash Management: - Prepare and share daily cash position reports with OpCo and regional teams. - Report cluster and cash balances to GL and Treasury Manager. - Manage fund flow and cash flow, including loan disbursements, payments, rollovers, and follow-ups. - Share bank debits with the Payments team and credits with the Collection team. - Share bank statements (collections) with relevant teams. - Accounting and Reporting: - Account for and approve treasury-related entries and share with the GL team for posting. - Prepare Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRSs). - Follow up with Collection and Payment teams to resolve open items in BRS. - Arrange entries for Conversion of EEFC balances to INR as needed. - Transaction Processing: - Prepare fund transfer letters, dial online transactions, and prepare checks for manual transfers. - Provide inward remittance purpose to banks for accurate credit allocation. **Weekly:** - Prepare and share weekly cash flow forecasts. - Submit weekly cash reports to WPP Group Treasury. **Monthly:** - Prepare and review intercompany cash pooling workings, entries, and payments, ensuring compliance with SOX controls. - Prepare Balance Sheet schedules (intercompany, expense, and income). - Generate stale cheque schedules. - Obtain balance confirmations and user access reports from banks. **Quarterly:** - Obtain bank mandates from banks. **Yearly:** - Ensure smooth dividend payout. - Manage timely renewal of LEI code. **As and When Required:** - Handle documentation and setup for new account openings, bank mandate updates, net banking document execution, and signatory maintenance. - Maintain Board Resolutions as per OpCo or WPP SSC Treasury instructions. - Respond to audit queries (SOX, Statutory, Income Tax, Internal). - Perform other treasury activities as required. **Mandatory Responsibilities:** - Comply with all Treasury Controls (SOX Controls) and CAS Controls. **Who you are:** **You're open*:* **we are inclusive and collaborative; we encourage the free exchange of ideas; we respect and celebrate diverse views.
