## About the role

**Part Time Special Needs Caregiver (Autism Experience Required) – Hiram, GA**

A welcoming family in Hiram, GA is seeking a caring, dependable female caregiver for their verbal 14-year-old daughter with autism and epilepsy. Mom is a teacher with the local school district, and dad works from home on Mondays and Fridays. The family is looking for long-term support with school pickups and afternoon engagement in a safe, nurturing environment.

**Schedule:**

- Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday: 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM

- 12 hours per week

**Family Specifications:**

- Pet-free home

- Support needed while parents finish their workdays

**Responsibilities:**

- Pick child up from school and transport her safely home

- Prepare afternoon snacks and engage in social activities

- Attend to general afternoon needs with minimal personal care required

**Requirements:**

- Proven experience supporting individuals with autism

- Valid Driver's License and reliable personal vehicle for school transportation

**Preferred:**

- Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) experience is a major plus

- Seeking a warm caregiver who can provide positive social interaction

- Experience with seizure management and response

**Compensation:**

- $15 – $17 per hour (willing to pay higher for the right candidate)
