## About the role

### Part Time Companion - East Long Meadow, MA

A family in East Long Meadow, MA 01028 is seeking a reliable and caring companion for a young woman in a skilled-care facility.

**Schedule:**

- Start Date: ASAP

- Weekday Hours: Monday - Friday, 4pm - 7pm

- Weekend Hours: Saturday and Sundays, 10am - 4pm

- *Family is open to one caregiver covering both shifts or separate caregivers for weekdays and weekends

**Responsibilities:**

- Provide socialization

- Engage in activities

- Accompany to meals

- Take her out to meals or errands (not needed at this moment)

**Requirements:**

- Reliable and punctual

- Strong interpersonal skills

- Must be able to reliably commute

**Preferred:**

- First aid/CPR certified

- Relevant background in non-medical companionship, mentoring, volunteering, or caregiving

- Positive, patient demeanor

**Compensation:**

- $35-$45 per hour (based on experience)
