## About the role

### Part Time Babysitter – Chesapeake, VA

A welcoming active military family in Chesapeake, VA 23321 is seeking an experienced and compassionate babysitter for their two young children (ages 3 and 6).

**Schedule:**

- Start Date: Asap

- Mondays, Tuesdays, and Saturdays from 4:30 PM – 7:00 PM

- **Flexible schedule focused primarily on occasional school pickups, after-school activities, and a weekly date night

**Family Specifications:**

- Smoke free home

- 7 year old Golden retriever

- Active military family

**Responsibilities:**

- Provide engaging personal care, including assistance with bathing and dressing

- Plan meals, prepare food, and feed the children

- Provide safe transportation to and from school and extra-curricular activities

- Accompany children to activities outside the home

**Requirements:**

- Proven child caregiving or babysitting experience

- Valid driver's license, reliable personal vehicle, and a clean driving record

- Ability to safely transport children to activities (gas stipend/reimbursement provided)

- Comfortable around pets 

**Preferred:**

- First Aid/CPR certifications

**Compensation:**

- $20–$23 per hour

- Gas stipend / mileage reimbursement for driving using personal vehicle
