## About the role

**Veterinary Technician**

**Salary: **$22.00 - $26.00 per hour, determined by the candidate's skills, experience, and qualifications. **$1,500 Sign On Bonus!**

**Schedule: **This is a full-time position. Our hospital operates 7 days a week, 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM. Candidates must have open availability, including evenings, overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays. Reliability and a team-oriented attitude are a must. Shift differentials are offered for eligible overnight and weekend hours.

**Fox Creek Veterinary Hospital at Wildwood is hiring full-time ****Veterinary Technicians** to provide skilled care to our patients and exceptional service to our clients. Our ideal candidate has experience in animal care, client communication, and veterinary procedures, with a passion for improving the lives of pets and their owners.

 **Key Responsibilities: **

- Support veterinarians with patient care, exams, surgery, anesthesia, and recovery.

- Safely handle and restrain animals with compassion.

- Communicate clearly with clients, including care instructions and status updates

- Perform technical duties such as lab work, radiographs, injections, and IV catheter placement.

- Maintain accurate medical records and assist with medication dispensing.

- Help keep exam rooms, treatment areas, and equipment clean, stocked, and ready.

- Follow hospital, safety, and regulatory guidelines at all times. 

**Qualifications:**

- At least 2 years of veterinary experience.

- Ability to handle animals safely and compassionately.

- Knowledgeable about common disease states and able to alert veterinarians to changes in patient conditions.

- Familiarity with DEA, OSHA, and hospital safety guidelines.
