## About UpGuard

UpGuard is the only platform that unifies cyber risk management across your vendor supply chain, attack surface, and human workforce.

## About the role

#### Who are we?

At UpGuard, we are replacing manual security bottlenecks with AI-driven precision. Fresh off a US$75M Series C, we are scaling our infrastructure to process 100 billion risk signals daily. This isn’t just growth; it’s a total reimagining of how the world manages cyber risk.

We build the Cyber Risk Posture Management (CRPM) platform that security teams actually love. By integrating security ratings, threat intel, and agentic AI, we empower organisations to stay ahead of an ever evolving attack surface.

We aren’t just building another tool; we’re defining a category. We provide the autonomy to ship world-class technology and the resources to do it at a global scale.

### Why are we hiring for this role?

We are seeking a HubSpot Marketing Hub specialist to build and run UpGuard's email channel inside Marketing Hub. Email is the primary specialisation: modules and templates, audience selection, suppression, subscription types, and channel reporting.

This is a hands-on individual-contributor role. You will configure Marketing Hub, produce and QA emails, and own reusable lists, modules, and reporting. Email channel strategy sits with the Director of Pipeline Marketing. You will work with Design, Development, and Marketing Operations as a core contributor.

### What will you do?

##### HubSpot Marketing Hub and email production

- Audit the current Marketing Hub email setup: templates, modules, lists, workflows, subscription types, suppression, and reporting

- Build and maintain the modular email library in Marketing Hub, including drag-and-drop modules with constrained design parameters and user input fields

- Rebuild recurring emails as Marketing Hub templates using the module library

- Test the library across common send types and fix issues with Design and Development

- Document how modules and templates are used so producers can build emails in HubSpot without a designer on every send

##### Audience selection and suppression

- Audit commonly used lists and document the audience logic behind them

- Build reusable active lists and segments from the approved Marketing Hub and CRM property set

- Implement suppression rules in HubSpot for active nurture, live deal, customer at risk, customer in renewal, and low engagement

- Add inclusion and exclusion selections to the email briefing and list-building process

- Partner with Marketing Operations on the approved-property dictionary used for campaign targeting

##### Intake, scheduling, and QA

- Refine the existing intake workflow and central email calendar

- Build QA checklists and HubSpot-side checks into the path from Asana request to scheduled send

- Surface audience overlap and competing sends before emails go out

- Add practical email best-practice checks to the production workflow

##### Subscription, deliverability, and reporting

- Review and update subscription types and reconversion logic in Marketing Hub

- Establish a channel-health baseline covering engagement, unsubscribes, spam complaints, deliverability, and contact volume

- Build recurring HubSpot reports for performance by audience, campaign, and email type

- Flag contact pressure, low-engagement cohorts, and sender-reputation issues

### What will you bring?

- 3+ years building and administering HubSpot Marketing Hub, including configuration work beyond sending emails from the UI

- Demonstrated email specialisation: Marketing Hub email, modules and templates, personalisation tokens, lists, and workflows

- Experience implementing suppression, subscription types, and list governance in HubSpot

- Working knowledge of email deliverability, including authentication awareness, bounce and spam-complaint handling, and sender reputation

- Ability to document audience logic and production steps so others can reuse them

- Strong written communication and comfort working with Design, Development, and Marketing Operations as peers

### What will give you an edge?

- Current HubSpot Marketing Hub Software certification

- Experience with coded HubSpot email modules or HubL

- B2B SaaS email programs covering nurture, campaign, and product or lifecycle sends

- Experience with the HubSpot Campaigns object and marketing email reporting

- Familiarity with Asana as the request and approval layer next to HubSpot
