# VP Marketing

## About the role

The VP Marketing is responsible for promoting DiscoveHR’s platform

through the usage of social media.

##### Time Commitment

Approx. 5-10 hrs/week throughout the school year

##### Term of Employment

September 2026 - April 2027

##### Main Responsibilities

- Create a marketing plan for all events that will ensure

effectiveness in areas such as increasing membership, club

awareness, and event awareness

- Communicate & maintain connections with clubs & other faculties

outside of Sauder to widen DiscoveHR’s outreach

- Create promotional materials and oversee the execution of social media platforms, and other communication channels (eg. Instagram, Facebook &

Linkedln)

- Attend weekly meetings and assist with other club initiatives as

needed

##### Qualifications

- Strong leadership, accountability, and time-management skills

- Detail-oriented, enthusiastic, creative, innovative

- Professional written and verbal communication skills

- Prior experience with web design and Adobe programs such as

Photoshop and Illustrator is an assets
