# Vice Chair

## About the role

The Vice Chair works closely with the Chair and all other portfolios to oversee all activities of the club and ensure the club is on track with its strategic goals.

##### Time Commitment

Approx. 5-10 hrs/week throughout the school year (Up to 12 hrs/week during busy times)

##### Term of Employment

September 2026 - April 2027

##### Main Responsibilities

- Provides leadership and direction to the club organization alongside the President

- Continually explore potential opportunities for expansion and to collaborate with other clubs and services

- Coordinate club activities and oversee the planning and execution of events alongside the rest of the executive team

- Reply to general inquiries and concerns sent through email and other communication platforms

- Assist other executives with administrative duties and provide support to team members when needed

- Attend weekly meetings and assist with other club initiatives as needed

##### Qualifications

- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

- Responsible, reliable, and able to work well under pressure

- Exceptional time-management and organization skills

- Able to maintain close relationships with other executive members

- Prior experience in leadership, management, and event planning roles is an asset

- A strong passion for HR is recommended
