# Event Coordinator

## About the role

As an Event Coordinator, you will take the lead in planning and executing assigned events from start to finish. You will help manage timelines, coordinate logistics, collaborate with executives and vendors, and support on-site setup, operations, and takedown. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, adaptable, detail-oriented, and excited to gain hands-on event planning and project management experience.

##### Time Commitment

4–8 hours/week

##### Key Responsibilities

- Lead the planning and execution of a designated event

- Assist with developing event timelines and tracking key planning milestones

- Coordinate assigned event logistics, including venue bookings, equipment, catering, and other operational needs

- Support on-site event execution, including setup, operations, and takedown

- Collaborate with other coordinators and executives to delegate tasks and ensure smooth execution across all event components

##### Qualifications

- Previous event planning experience is an asset

- Strong organization and attention to detail

- Comfortable taking initiative and leading assigned responsibilities

- Ability to multitask and adapt to changing circumstances

- Strong communication and collaboration skills

##### Learning Outcomes

- Improve organization and problem-solving in high-pressure, real-time situations

- Gain hands-on experience leading an event from planning to execution and wrap-up

- Develop communication and coordination skills across teams, vendors, and stakeholders

- Strengthen attention to detail and project management skills
