# Senior Program Manager, Insights Program Management

**Tendo** · Remote, United States

Apply: https://jobs.lever.co/tendo/909808ff-9eae-4ca5-b3fc-6342a320897c

## About Tendo

Tendo enables anyone in Africa to sell online with zero upfront inventory - our mobile app connects dropshippers to local wholesalers. The sellers on the platform are able to source products through Tendo and resell items using social commerce tools, such as WhatsApp, arrange delivery, and get paid, all through the Tendo mobile app.

At the moment, people who want to sell online need to save money, visit hundreds of suppliers to find a trusted one, and risk losing their capital by stocking up inventory. Beyond this, they need to incur costs for logistics and warehousing. We eliminate all that.

## About the role

We're hiring a Senior Manager, Implementation Program Manager to own the delivery and relationship for a portfolio of Tendo Insights customers, from contract signature through go-live and into steady-state value realization. You'll be the person a hospital's CMO, CFO, and clinical documentation team all trust to bring order to a complex, cross-functional rollout — one that touches clinical, financial, IT, and executive stakeholders who don't always agree with each other.

This is a senior, largely autonomous role. You'll be expected to build and run your own implementation plans, manage multiple concurrent customer engagements, navigate organizational politics inside customer accounts, and represent Tendo credibly in front of hospital executives while also partnering closely with Sales, Product, and Support to make sure customer commitments are realistic and kept.

##### Responsibilities

- Own end-to-end implementation planning for new Tendo Insights customers — building phased project plans, governance structures, and realistic timelines based on each customer's specific data, IT, and organizational constraints.

- Serve as the primary relationship owner for your accounts through implementation, building trusted-advisor relationships with executive sponsors (CMO/CFO-level), day-to-day champions, and operational stakeholders (CDI, HIM, IT/data teams).

- Identify and proactively manage delivery risk — including organizational and interpersonal risk (e.g., a stakeholder who sees the tool as a threat, competing internal IT priorities) and not just timeline/technical risk.

- Run structured stakeholder communication and escalation cadences, including managing engagements through periods when an executive sponsor has reduced availability.

- Convert high-level or phased contract commitments into specific, mutually agreed implementation plans with the customer.Build and deliver executive-level updates and business reviews that connect implementation progress to the value the customer actually cares about — including proposing credible leading indicators when the metrics customers ultimately care about (like annual quality rankings) move too slowly to show in-quarter progress.

- Partner cross-functionally with Sales (on scoping and handoff), Product (on customer feedback and gaps), and Support (on transition to steady state) to ensure a seamless customer experience.

- Manage multiple concurrent customer engagements at varying stages of the implementation lifecycle, prioritizing your time across a portfolio rather than a single account.

- Mentor and provide guidance to more junior program/project managers on the team as it scales.

##### Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

- 7+ years of experience in program/project management, implementation, or professional services, ideally in enterprise software, healthcare technology, or a comparably complex B2B environment.

- A track record of managing complex, multi-stakeholder implementations with executive-level customer visibility — not just internal project plans.

- Demonstrated judgment in navigating organizational politics and relationship risk within a customer account — you can name the real risk to an engagement, not just the risk that's easy to put in a status report.

- Strong executive communication and presence — comfortable building and delivering a plan or business review directly to a customer's C-suite, and comfortable being challenged on it in the room.

- Structured, rigorous planning skills: you can build a realistic, dependency-aware timeline rather than a generic template.

- Experience managing a portfolio of concurrent engagements and prioritizing across competing demands.

##### Nice to Have

- Experience in healthcare — particularly with hospital or health system operations, clinical quality programs, clinical documentation improvement (CDI), or healthcare data/analytics.

- Familiarity with healthcare quality metrics and ranking programs (e.g., CMS Star Ratings, U.S. News & World Report rankings, HEDIS, or similar).

- PMP, PgMP, or similar program management certification.

- Experience partnering with clinical, IT, and finance stakeholders simultaneously on the same engagement.

**Base Salary Range**

$114,750 - $155,250

This salary range is offered with the understanding that final compensation is based on a number of factors including geography and experience. Tendo also offers an equity package, annual bonuses, and benefits.
