Takealot.com, South Africa's leading online retailer, is looking for a highly talented **Marketplace Sales Intern** to join our Cross-Border eCommerce team.

**Qualifications & Experience Requirements:**

**N6 / NCV in Business Management, Marketing, Sales, or related field**

**The skills we need:**

- Computer Literacy

- Strong Attention to Detail

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Time management and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

- MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

- Data interpretation and presentation.

- Basic understanding of e-commerce or online marketplace platforms (advantageous).

- Familiarity with Google Sheets and Looker or similar BI tools (advantageous).

- Strong problem solving skills

 **Key responsibilities:**

- Support Business Development Admins (BDAs) with day-to-day administrative tasks, seller correspondence, and account management activities.

- Prepare clear reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate sales performance, seller metrics, and marketplace insights to stakeholders.

- Collect, analyse, and interpret sales, seller, and marketplace data to support decision-making and continuous improvement.

- Assist in maintaining seller records, onboarding documentation, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

- Monitor seller performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) and assist in identifying improvement opportunities and corrective actions.

- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics, Catalogue, and Customer Experience.

- Support the coordination and administration of promotional activities, deal submissions, and catalogue updates.

- Participate in problem-solving initiatives by identifying root causes, proposing practical solutions, and supporting implementation.

- Assist with seller onboarding support, listing quality checks, and ensuring data integrity across marketplace systems.

This is an 18-month contract
