**TEAM AND ROLE**
We are looking for an Origination professional to join our Energy Efficiency team in Madrid and help further develop STX’s position in the Spanish CAEs market. In this role, you will focus on identifying and originating new business opportunities, building relationships with corporates, installers, engineering firms and other market participants, and creating a strong pipeline of projects that support clients in their decarbonisation journey. This is a commercial and entrepreneurial role for someone who enjoys proactively opening doors, understanding client needs and turning energy efficiency opportunities into tangible business impact.

The unit is dedicated to the origination and financing of Energy Efficiency Projects, enabling STX to offer to its clients solutions that are essential to their decarbonisation journey. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

- Participate in the efficient development and deployment of our commercial strategy by building your own portfolio of leads.

- Identify, establish and maintain effective customer relationships with new clients, heavy energy consumers (industrial plants, tertiary sector, and so on) through cold calling, networking and relationship building.

- Offering energy and sustainability solutions and services to business customers.

- Identify and approach contractors, installers, engineering firms and manufacturers developing energy efficiency projects and products.

- Technical analysis and evaluation of applicability of Certificados de Ahorro Energético (CAES) to projects and monitoring of private or public initiatives that can contribute to the generation of certificates.

**KEY REQUIREMENTS**

- 1-3 years of experience in B2B sales or business development, preferably in the energy or industrial sectors with a focus on energy efficiency.

- Strong prospecting mindset with the energy and resilience to generate new business opportunities.

- Highly comfortable with technical and complex solutions (industrial utilities, specific projects, monitoring, etc).

- Having work on anything related with CAEs and have a good knowledge of the market will be desirable.

- Fluent Spanish and good command of English (at least B2 level). The main business activities are conducted in Spanish and the company language is English.

- Living in Madrid (or willing to relocate).
