If you're ready to drive change and make history, apply now! ###### What you’ll do Become part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the electric pick-up truck & rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following: **Business Operations** - Own annual budget planning, forecasting, and financial management activities across the Charging, Connectivity, Cloud Services, and Software Services portfolio. - Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team spanning business operations, project management, financial planning, analytics, data science, marketing programs, launch readiness, and training & communications. - Partner with Finance and business leaders to develop business cases, investment proposals, and ROI assessments for strategic initiatives. - Lead annual and long-range workforce planning activities, including headcount forecasting, organizational planning, and resource allocation recommendations. - Monitor program and vendor spending against approved budgets, proactively identifying risks, opportunities, and corrective actions. - Support planning round activities by consolidating budget, resource, and investment assumptions across the portfolio of products. - Partner with Procurement, Finance, and key stakeholders to ensure financial alignment for software, technology, and service investments. **Project Delivery & Execution Management** - Lead complex cross-functional programs across Charging, Connectivity, Cloud Services, Fleet, and Software Products. - Drive execution-excellence across multiple programs, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery for all Energy & Software Services features and products. - Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and deliverables. Utilize JIRA & Confluence to define & manage program artifacts and ensure clarity and accountability across key stakeholders. - Track progress against digital, RVT, & vehicle milestones and proactively identify risks and mitigation strategies to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery of products & features. - Track the progress of all Charging, Cloud, & Connectivity purchasing projects including RFIs & RFQs. - Coordinate commercial, product, engineering, finance, legal, procurement, and finance stakeholders to achieve program objectives. **Portfolio Prioritization & Commercialization** - Partner with Product, Engineering, & IT planning teams and engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of Charging & Connectivity backlog into PI planning & sprint planning. - Facilitate prioritization decisions across competing initiatives while balancing customer value, technical constraints, & business objectives. - Ensure that our business priorities are supported by engineering, digital, & IT execution capacity. - Lead commercialization planning for Charging, Connectivity, Cloud Services, Fleet Services, and future software offerings. - Oversee marketing programs, go-to-market activities, launch readiness, training, and communications to support successful product adoption. - Coordinate cross-functional launch activities across Product, Engineering, Marketing, Customer Experience, Training, Legal, and Operations teams. - Partner closely with Marketing, Product, Sales, Customer Experience, and Training teams to develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new products and services. **Location & Travel Expectations**:** ** - This role may be based out of the Scout Motors corporate headquarters in Charlotte, NC or Novi, Michigan. - This role requires 4-5 days per week in the office, with regular in-person meetings and events. - Applicants should expect that the role will require the ability to convene with Scout colleagues in person and travel to participate in events on behalf of the company from time to time. ###### What you’ll bring We expect all Scout employees to have integrity, curiosity, resourcefulness, and strive to exhibit a positive attitude, as well as a growth mindset. Here's what else you'll bring: - Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or another relevant field. - 10+ years of experience developing and managing OEM Connected Services relationships and consumer offers. - 5+ years of managing project and/or product teams related to Charging or Connected Services, with a demonstrated success in delivering products & features at an automotive OEM. - Broad base of project management and technical knowledge especially related to the automotive sector. Current knowledge of trends in project tracking tools and best practices. - Customer-first mindset, always thinking from the point of view of a Scout customer. - Demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams through the planning, delivery, commercialization, and launch of products and services. - Strong project management mindset and a track record of defining complex projects and seeing them through to completion, managing teams through influence and using tools such as JIRA/Confluence. - Proven track record of building a high-performing team and developing a positive team culture. - Mindfulness of organizational navigation and ability to create effective cross-functional collaboration at all levels. ###### What you'll gain The benefits of joining Scout include the chance to build products and a company from the ground up.
